Emirates Rulers congratulate Egyptian Pres. on July 23 Revolution
The messages were sent by Their Highnesses the Rulers, His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi of Ajman, His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi of Fujairah, His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla of Umm Al Qaiwain, and His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi of Ras Al Khaimah. The Crown Princes and Deputy Rulers of Ajman, Fujairah, Umm Al Qaiwain, and Ras Al Khaimah also dispatched similar messages to the Egyptian President.

Ajman unveils major road project to support urban growth
The Sheikh Zayed Street Development Project has officially been inaugurated in Ajman's Al Helio area. Stretching 2.8 km, the development comes at a cost of AED 63 million. Launched under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, the project is a joint effort by the Ajman Municipality & Planning Department and Ajman Police. It's part of the emirate's broader push to modernize infrastructure and support urban growth, while improving the quality of life for residents. Rulers of Emirates condole on passing of Prince Faisal bin Khalid
The messages were sent by Their Highnesses the Rulers, Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qasimi of Sharjah, Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi of Ajman, Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi of Fujairah, Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla of Umm Al Qaiwain, and Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi of Ras Al Khaimah. Ammar bin Humaid chairs Ajman Executive Council meeting
Launch of 'Our Balanced Summer' initiative The Council approved the "Our Balanced Summer" initiative, reflecting the government's focus on employee well-being and quality of life during the summer, aligned with the Year of Community. The initiative includes 100% remote work every Friday (July 1 – August 22, 2025), and shortened working hours from Monday to Thursday (7:30 am – 2:30 pm). These adjustments aim to enhance work-life balance, institutional efficiency, and seamless service delivery. Focus on employee stability and environmental sustainability Sheikh Ammar emphasized that the Ajman Government, under the leadership of H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, prioritizes a supportive work environment. He underscored employee and family stability as key to progress, while highlighting the initiative's eco-friendly benefits by reducing transportation-related emissions, supporting Ajman Vision 2030. Monitoring and implementation The Human Resources Department, with the Executive Council's General Secretariat, will manage the rollout and present an impact assessment report in September 2025. Ongoing government culture transformation The initiative supports Ajman's efforts to establish a flexible, inclusive, and high-performing government culture, encouraging productivity and employee happiness. Council reviews visit to Chongqing, China The Council reviewed the outcomes of Sheikh Ammar's recent official visit to Chongqing, China. Recommendations included quarterly coordination meetings with Chinese counterparts, expansion of academic exchange programmes, promotion of Chinese investments in priority sectors like AI, clean tech, and vocational training. Invitation to Chinese delegation The Council proposed hosting a Chinese delegation in Ajman to explore the emirate's planning model, cultural depth, and investment opportunities backed by tailored incentives. Approval of 'Ajman Learns' under Ajman Vision 2030 The Council approved the "Ajman Learns" initiative, reinforcing the emirate's goal of becoming a center for lifelong learning, innovation, and sustainable growth through enhanced governance and monitoring. Commitment to lifelong learning and human capital development Sheikh Ammar reaffirmed the importance of investing in human capital and building an inclusive educational system, in line with the directives of Ajman's Ruler. Vocational training accreditation and global collaboration The Council directed the creation of an accreditation program for technical and vocational institutes, ensuring alignment with market needs. It also emphasized maximizing benefits from Ajman's membership in the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities. Release of 'Lifelong Learning in Ajman' report The Council reviewed the first-of-its-kind 'Lifelong Learning in Ajman' report, offering a detailed analysis of Ajman's educational ecosystem and identifying areas for development toward a knowledge-based society. Ajman's educational landscape and inclusive offerings According to the report, Ajman serves over 96,000 students, with a balanced distribution across private, public, and vocational education. The emirate features 62 early childhood providers, 80+ schools, 5 universities, and 63 vocational/technical training centres. Ajman also supports inclusive education through rehabilitation centers, sports clubs, cultural institutions, and innovation hubs. Global recognition and educational impact Ajman's 2024 accession to the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities has enhanced its international profile and commitment to collaborative educational excellence.
