Fini Pizza Opens New Brooklyn Waterfront Location With an Expanded Menu

Plus, Los Angeles chef's first New York restaurant opens this week — and more intel Jul 1, 2025, 3:05 PM UTC Brooklyn slice shop Fini Pizza owner Sean Feeney (who is a co-owner of Italian restaurant Lilia) expanded with a fourth location and a brand-new bar in Brooklyn Heights this summer. Fini Patio Bar and the latest Fini Pizza are found at 159 Bridge Park Drive, near Brooklyn Bridge Park Pier 5, both of which opened on Tuesday, June 24. Fini Patio and Fini Pizza in Brooklyn Heights serve New York-style and Sicilian slices, alongside Italian dishes like chicken and eggplant Parms, fish piccata, and peppers stuffed with sausage. And, because of its prime location on the East River, the restaurant is hosting a special Fourth of July fireworks event on Friday, July 4, where the tickets are $200 with a prix fixe menu featuring pizza, Italian ices, beers, and wines. The restaurant and bar took over what was the Estuary restaurant, which opened in 2019 and closed in 2024. Los Angeles chef Timothy Hollingsworth is opening his first New York restaurant out near the Belmont racetrack in Queens this summer. Hundredfold is opening in the Belmont Park Village at 2501 Hempstead Turnpike in Elmont on Wednesday, July 2. The luxe-ish restaurant is a French brasserie serving wide-spanning American dishes in a large, 200-seat space. Expect fancy French bread pizza, crispy beef tacos, roasted chicken, and mini-martini flights. Hollingsworth had been the co-owner of Los Angeles restaurant Otium, which shuttered in controversy in 2024, and is the co-founder of national restaurant chain festival ChainFest. He partnered with national hospitality company Patina Restaurant Group for Hundredfold. The co-owners of Williamsburg restaurant Lighthouse BK are expanding into Manhattan for their next project, a cocktail and listening bar. Birds will be found in the West Village at 64 Downing Street, near Varick Street, starting sometime in mid-July. Co-owners Naama and Assaf Tamir tagged bartender Steve Schneider for the drinks. He's an alum of the acclaimed NYC bar Sip & Guzzle. Birds will offer a list of 20 classic cocktails for $16 a piece, alongside food like oysters, tartare, and roasted vegetables.
