1 killed after car flips through wall on Beatties Ford Road in Huntersville

One person was killed in a rollover crash Tuesday afternoon in Huntersville, Channel 9 learned. The Huntersville Fire Department first reported the crash at the intersection of Beatties Ford and Sample roads. MEDIC then confirmed to Channel 9 that one person was killed in the crash. It's not clear what led to the crash or how many cars were involved. The victim hasn't been identified yet. Chopper 9 Skyzoom flew to the scene and spotted one vehicle that crashed through a wall on the side of the road. The car had flipped over underneath trees, and a portion of the wall was sitting in the middle of Beatties Ford Road. Emergency crews were directing traffic away from the crash, and a portion of Beatties Ford Road was shut down. HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — One person is dead and another is injured after a serious crash, according to the Huntersville Fire Department. Around 9:15 a.m. on Saturday, officials responded to the crash on Hwy 73 near McGuire Nuclear Station Road. According to Medic, one person was pronounced dead at the scene, and another person was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. The crash has closed one lane of Hwy 73 near McGuire, which will impact traffic in and out of Lincoln County. It's unclear what led to the crash or how many vehicles were involved. 'This will remain an active scene as Police investigate. One person seriously hurt in crash on I-485 in north Charlotte: Medic

CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — One person is seriously hurt after a crash that closed I-485 in north Charlotte, according to Medic. Around 7:50 a.m., officials responded to the crash on I-485 outer near Oakdale Road. Huntersville Fire Department said someone was pinned in a car off the road in the woods and a helicopter was inbound. Medic responded to the crash and said one person was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
