One person seriously hurt in crash on I-485 in north Charlotte: Medic

CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — One person is seriously hurt after a crash that closed I-485 in north Charlotte, according to Medic.
Around 7:50 a.m., officials responded to the crash on I-485 outer near Oakdale Road. Huntersville Fire Department said someone was pinned in a car off the road in the woods and a helicopter was inbound.
Medic responded to the crash and said one person was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
According to NCDOT, two of three lanes of I-485 outer is closed at Exit 18 (Oakdale Road) and isn't expected to reopen until around 10 a.m.
Police have not said what led to the crash.

Report the text to the Federal Trade Commission at and/or file a complaint with the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center at Forward the message to 7726 (SPAM) to help your provider identify and block similar messages.
