KSrelief and Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization Launch Emergency Food Assistance Project - Jordan News
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), in collaboration with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), has launched an emergency food assistance project targeting underprivileged Jordanian families as well as Palestinian and Syrian refugees across various governorates in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The initiative aims to benefit approximately 25,000 individuals. اضافة اعلان The project includes the distribution of food vouchers redeemable at designated grocery stores throughout Jordan. This approach enables beneficiaries to purchase essential food items of their choosing with dignity and autonomy. The JHCO emphasized that the initiative reflects a strengthened humanitarian partnership with KSrelief and aims to alleviate the economic burdens on vulnerable households while promoting food security in the Kingdom. Naif bin Saleh Al-Shamri, Director of KSrelief's Jordan office, stated that the initiative is part of Saudi Arabia's broader humanitarian efforts, through KSrelief, to support daily nutritional needs of the most vulnerable groups, including low-income Jordanians and refugees, thereby reinforcing food security in the country. Dr. Hussein Al-Shibli, Secretary-General of the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization, expressed gratitude for KSrelief's continued support of relief efforts in Jordan. He affirmed that the collaboration reflects the deep fraternal ties between Jordan and Saudi Arabia and contributes significantly to addressing the needs of the most vulnerable segments of society, particularly amid ongoing economic challenges.

Germany Delivers 32 Additional Trucks to Support the Jordanian Humanitarian Corridor to Gaza Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Raed bin Hassan, Chairman of the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization, and as part of efforts to enhance the capacity of the Jordanian humanitarian corridor to Gaza, the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs provided funding to the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization and the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) to purchase additional trucks. Today, 32 trucks were delivered during an official ceremony attended by the Secretary-General of the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization, Dr. Hussein Al-Shibli, and the German Ambassador to Jordan, Dr. Bertram von Moltke. اضافة اعلان In his speech at the ceremony, the German Ambassador to Jordan, Dr. Bertram von Moltke, said: "The Jordanian humanitarian corridor is a lifeline for Gaza and its people who are in urgent need of aid. Through Germany's support, we hope that these trucks will contribute to delivering the essential humanitarian assistance to Gaza – one convoy at a time. The continued operation of this corridor, thanks to the joint efforts of the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization, the Jordanian Armed Forces, and UNOPS, makes it a vital hub for relief, and I would like to express my sincere gratitude for their commitment and leadership." For his part, Dr. Hussein Al-Shibli, the Secretary-General of the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization, expressed his thanks to the Federal Republic of Germany for its ongoing support and humanitarian efforts, saying: "We highly appreciate this generous contribution, which will greatly enhance our ability to deliver the essential humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza. Jordan delivers ready-made homes to Gaza
Continuing its humanitarian efforts to support its brothers in the Gaza Strip, the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) announced in a statement today that it has begun sending prefabricated houses to the region, in cooperation with the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army. This significant step is part of a series of relief efforts that Jordan has been implementing since the onset of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, aimed at providing safe shelter for families affected by the destruction of homes and infrastructure. Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, continues to play a pivotal role in supporting the Palestinian people, as the Jordanian humanitarian corridor – through land and air bridges – is one of the most important channels ensuring the rapid and efficient delivery of aid to the Gaza Strip. Since the beginning of the crisis, Jordanian aid convoys have consistently headed to the region, carrying food supplies, medical necessities, and relief assistance, in addition to field hospitals providing healthcare to the injured and ill amid the challenging conditions they face. Dr. Hussein Al-Shibli, the Secretary-General of the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization, explained that this step aims to intensify humanitarian efforts and provide all possible forms of support to the brothers in Gaza. Al-Shibli stated, "Sending prefabricated houses is part of our ongoing commitment to support our people in Gaza, as we seek to provide quick and effective solutions to alleviate their suffering. Jordan will always be at the forefront of countries extending a helping hand to its brothers, relying on the guidance of the Hashemite leadership and the Kingdom's rich legacy in humanitarian work."
