Uncle of victim in deadly NJ car crash slams mom who allegedly helped driver son flee charges: ‘She shouldn't be walking free'
The family of the teenager killed in a horrific New Jersey crash slammed the accused driver for leaving his pal to die – and the motorist's mother for allegedly trying to help him dodge criminal charges. Parim Murati, the distraught uncle of 'one of a kind' 19-year-old Albion Hysenaj, railed Tuesday over the social media support for Vilma Vneshta, the mom accused of fleeing with her son Alvi Limani, 20, to Florida following the fatal smash-up that killed Hysenaj. 4 Ablion Hysena was remembered as one of a kind. Courtesy Hysenaj Family Advertisement 'People put posts saying 'It's a mother's love,' but how does my sister feel now?' Murati, 41, said of Hysenaj's mother, who is a single parent. 'People want to compare and say a mother would do that for their child, but nobody is putting themselves in my sister's shoes who actually lost a child.' Vneshta, 42, and Limani, 20, allegedly absconded to Florida with an eye on leaving the country following the horrific June 29 Garden State Parkway crash that stemmed from a street race turned tragic, according to authorities. Advertisement Vneshta and Limani were caught in Miami on July 17 and shipped back to the tristate area last week, the New Jersey State Police said. Vneshta is facing a count of hindering apprehension. 'I believe she deserves time, she deserves to go to jail as well,' Murati said. 'She shouldn't be walking free. Being a mother, she should've thought about what happened to my sister … What if they would've gotten him out of the county? We wouldn't have gotten any justice.' Facebook/Vilma Vneshta Murati is also disgusted at Limani, who is facing a slew of charges including aggravated manslaughter. He allegedly slammed into two cars on the parkway and rolled his BMW over, ejecting Hysenaj and one other passenger, who survived, from the car. 'How do you leave your friend? What if he could've saved him?' the uncle said. 'What if that little bit of help, put your hand on a wound there, what if he could've helped him? … he could've called 911, he could've done anything.' Tiktok/jhongb85 Hysenaj, a recent high school graduate and lifelong Staten Islander, loved video games and had dreams of becoming an entrepreneur. He helped his mother as much as possible at her job and could easily take apart a PC and put it back together without any training, his uncle said. 'My nephew was most definitely one of a kind, a loving, sweet little boy,' Murati said. 4 Vneshta was also arrested. Tiktok/jhongb85 'He basically lit up the room when he walked in the room. Always caring, always there for anyone. He was the type of person you could ask him something and he was gonna do it with a smile on his fase.' Staten Island resident Emily Harrington, 19, is also facing charges tied to the crash after she allegedly left the crash scene with Limani. The other driver involved in the fatal car racing, Jeter Ogando, 23, of Perth Amboy, NJ, is facing vehicular homicide and related charges.

Diamant Hysenaj, GOP businessman and immigrant from Kosovo, to challenge AOC
A Republican city real-estate developer says his experience with war in his native Kosovo will help him topple Democratic Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. 'I came here as a young kid and had to make my way in a tough neighborhood in The Bronx,' said congressional hopeful Diamant Hysenaj, a 42-year-old Albanian immigrant and president of the construction and building firm DCG New York, to The Post. 'My life could have gone another direction, but I worked hard, tried to fit in as best I could as an outsider and achieved the American Dream: a successful business, a beautiful family and a calling to serve,' the GOPer said. 5 Businessman Diamant Hysenaj is running for the Republican nomination in the 14th Congressional District. Facebook/Diamant Hysena Hysenaj said his upbringing growing up on a farm in Kosovo, then experiencing war and the break-up of the former Yugoslavia, also prepares him to fight to represent the immigrant-heavy 14th House District encompassing parts of The Bronx and Queens — a bid considered a long shot against the popular progressive AOC. 'Imagine a story that runs through nearly half of NY-14 — immigrants, dreamers like me,' Hysenaj said. 'It begins on a dusty farm in Kosovo, 1982. 'Thirty-six of us — cousins, aunts, uncles — crammed into three weathered houses, alive with laughter and my nana's cooking. My parents, hands rough from factory shifts in the old Yugoslav regime, carved out a life that felt golden to me. I was a kid then, chasing chickens, oblivious to the war creeping closer— shielded by love, by family, by a world they kept steady just for us. 'That was my beginning,' Hysenaj said. 5 Hysenaj will attempt to unseat Democratic Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in her Bronx and Queens district. The streets hit hard: gangs lurking, a skinny kid scrapping to belong. No welfare, just work.' He earned an associate degree from SUNY Westchester Community College. 'I rebuilt from zero once, found my passion in real estate. Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan —homes, restaurants, buildings — I built them, hired hundreds, made this city my canvas,' the Republican said. 5 Hysenaj with upstate New York Rep. Elise Stefanik. Facebook/Diamant Hysena He said he also recovered from the 2008 Great Recession, endured the tragic death of his sister from a car crash and the suicide of a close family member. Hysenaj said the American Dream is 'alive and well, but not in AOC's New York. 'I am running for Congress to make our streets safer, reform a broken immigration system and improve the decaying infrastructure in our district. Meanwhile, AOC is flying on private jets to preach socialism everywhere else, while the people of the 14th District suffer,' he said. 5 Hysenaj immigrated from Kosovo in 1991. Facebook/Diamant Hysena 'I am fighting for a country where every voice matters, not just the privileged elite. With the help of the great people of the 14th district, over 50% of whom are immigrants just like me, we will win.' Ocasio-Cortez, 35, who was first elected in 2018, is seeking re-election to a fifth term next year in an overwhelmingly Democratic district. She is riding high at the moment. Her fellow Democratic Socialist, state Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani, whom she endorsed for mayor, won the Democratic primary contest last week and is on the odds-on favorite to win the general election for City Hall. Her name has been floated to run for US Senate against Chuck Schumer in 2028 or even for president.
