Hyundai Motors introduces new variants of Alcazar, check prices
Gurugram (Haryana) [India], June 3 (ANI): Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) announced significant enhancements to its premium SUV, Hyundai Alcazar, with a panoramic sunroof and DTC option on Tuesday. Alcazar diesel Corporate variants start from Rs 17,86,700 and on the other hand, Alcazar Prestige DCT Petrol variant starts from Rs 18,63,700. HMIL also shared, in a move to further elevate the value proposition for customers, the company has introduced a new Corporate variant in the Diesel powertrain with a voice-enabled smart Panoramic Sunroof. Available with both 6-speed Manual and 6-speed Automatic transmission options, the Hyundai Alcazar Corporate variant caters to the evolving Indian customer aspirations. The company has expanded automatic transmission variants in the Alcazar by introducing the 7-speed DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) in the Alcazar Prestige Petrol variant, offering enhanced driving convenience and responsiveness for customers who prefer an automatic experience at an accessible price. The company has introduced a new Corporate variant in the diesel powertrain with a panoramic sunroof, and has added a 7-speed DCT (dual-clutch transmission) option to the entry-level Prestige Petrol newly launched Alcazar Corporate 7S Diesel MT is priced at Rs 17.86 lakh (ex-showroom), while the automatic version is available at Rs 19.28 lakh (ex-showroom). 'The introduction of the Corporate variant in Alcazar Diesel with a voice-enabled smart panoramic sunroof and the inclusion of DCT in the Prestige Petrol variant reflects our commitment to providing a more personalised and premium SUV experience,' Garg feature highlights:The new Corporate diesel variant brings a voice-enabled panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control (DATC), and ambient lighting across the cabin, enhancing comfort and variants include a 10.25-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system, Hyundai Bluelink connected car tech, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay (via an adapter), and front-row wireless charging, offering a modern in-cabin SUV gets quad beam LED headlamps, sequential LED turn signals, 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, and bridge-type roof rails, maintaining its premium road safety features include six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), hill-start assist (HAC), and vehicle stability management (VSM), ensuring peace of mind for Alacazar comes with a 1.5-litre Turbo GDi petrol engine producing 160PS and 253Nm, and a 1.5-litre CRDi diesel engine generating 116PS and 250Nm. The petrol variant is available with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT, while the diesel version offers a choice between a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic torque converter. Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has expanded the variant lineup of its premium SUV, Alcazar, with the introduction of new variants. Specifically, the brand has introduced a new Corporate variant for the diesel powertrain, along with features like a voice-enabled smart sunroof. As per an announcement by the South Korean automaker, its variant will have a diesel engine with six-speed manual and six-speed automatic transmission options. The diesel-powered Alcazar Corporate with MT and seven-seat configuration will be sold at Rs 17.86 lakh (ex-showroom), while the automatic variant comes at Rs 19.28 lakh (ex-showroom). With this price, the Corporate variant is placed between the Prestige and Platinum variants with diesel and a six-speed MT. Additionally, the brand has introduced the petrol engine with a DCT in the Prestige variant. This variant will have a price tag of Rs 18.63 lakh (ex-showroom). Meanwhile, the list of features includes elements like a 10.25-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, smart key with push button start, ambient lighting, dual zone automatic climate control, and more. For safety, the SUV gets six airbags, ESC, HAC, and vehicle stability management. The 1.5-litre four-cylinder diesel engine employed on the SUV is tuned to produce 114 hp of power and 250 Nm of peak torque. Meanwhile, the 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine kicks out 157 hp of power and 253 Nm of peak torque.
