Princess Andre, 18, teases drastic career change after reality TV success
Princess Andre has revealed her next career move following the breakout success of her documentary, The Princess Diaries. The 18-year-old has been making numerous headlines in recent weeks following the season finale of her hit ITV2 reality show. Earlier this week, Katie Price hit back at her ex-husband Peter Andre after he shared a blistering Instagram post in which he strongly criticised his ex-wife after reported comments about his children's welfare. Princess then responded to the drama, saying: 'I love my mum and dad and that's all that matters.' Now, however, the 18-year-old has opened up about a potential career change in an exciting development. Speaking to The Sun, she said: 'I want to be a successful businesswoman which I am actually heading towards at the moment. So hopefully in five years time, it will all be up there. 'I also want to get into music.' This comes after her father Peter shot to fame with his 1995 hit Mysterious Girl. Her brother Junior, 20, also shared his five-year plan, saying: 'Music, acting, business stuff, some clothing stuff, some fragrance stuff, just all of that stuff. 'We've got amazing things coming. Obviously the industry is very [up and down] but it's always about picking yourself up and getting back to it.' Katie and Peter first met on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here in 2004 and went on to have two children together – Princess, 18, and Junior, 20 – before separating in 2009. In her new ITV series, the show focuses on Princess's relationship with fame and carving out her own reputation beyond her celebrity parents. Princess also opened up about the difficulties she faced growing up with 'a lot on her plate'. The social media influencer, who has 782k followers on Instagram, shared what she went through after Katie and her ex-husband Kieran Hayler broke up in 2018 after five years together. She said: 'We got really close to him and loved him. He did a lot of stuff, and when they split up, everything kind of went downhill. My mum, obviously, being heartbroken, didn't deal with that the best way. 'She went through a very, very dark time, which was understandable. It was hard for me because I was around adulty things that kids should never see. More Trending 'I think, as well, when we needed our mum there, she wasn't emotionally able to be there because she had so much of her own problems going on.' This prompted Kieran to apologise to his former stepdaughter. The personal trainer, 38, said he regrets his multiple affairs that ended his marriage to Katie, which had a devastating impact on Princess's childhood. Benidorm star reveals she is ‘homeless' and ‘close to living in a cardboard box' seven years after end of hit ITV sitcom
THIS Benidorm star has revealed that she now basically lives 'like a nomad' sleeping on peoples' couches, despite being a praised actress. The star was a long-standing member of the Hotel Solana gang, with the ITV series becoming a fan favourite until it ended seven years ago. Crissy, who played hotel manager Janey York in the sitcom, said that her job means that she's always on the go, and can't become 'complacent' as her work sends her all over the place. She told Crissy adds that she 'moves around from couch to couch' when back at home in Liverpool, flitting between her friends and family members. Advertisement READ MORE BENIDORM However, the star noted it was her choice to do it, leaving her open for opportunities – The Sun exclusively revealed in April that the cast were in early talks to make a comeback for another run. A source said: 'Benidorm was adored by millions when it was suddenly cancelled. Fans will be thrilled to hear ITV wants to bring it back. 'An 11th series hasn't been commissioned yet, but there's major excitement building as early talks begin. While she said it would be 'brilliant' to bring the show back, Crissy remained tight-lipped about whether she would be a part of it. Advertisement Sherrie Hewson later replaced her as the Solana's manager, while Crissy went on to appear on Celebrity Masterchef and I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here. Even though the show was axed in 2018, it went on to win Best Comedy at the TV Choice Awards that year – prompting creator Derren Litten to take a swipe at the channel over the decision. As he picked up the gong, he told the crowd: 'This is a bit awkward, the show's just been cancelled.' 'I've huge respect for ITV — a show that's getting five and a half million viewers and still picking up awards, but they've cancelled it,' he added. Advertisement 'That takes balls.' Despite the end of the show being seven years ago, fans continue to flock to ITVX to watch the series.
