Kerry Katona makes savage dig at Brooklyn Beckham with 'nepo-baby' remark
As former Atomic Kitten star Kerry Katona and her long-time pal Katie Price gear up for their tour, they discussed their 18-year-old daughters' careers, dismissing nepotism claims Kerry Katona has taken a brutal swipe at David and Victoria Beckham' s eldest son Brooklyn, as she discussed 'nepo-baby' claims about her own daughter. The former Atomic Kitten singer, 44, was revealed she has encouraged her daughter to take any offers of reality TV. Mum-of-four Kerry, who will soon head out on tour with long-time pal Katie Price, wants her 18-year-old daughter Heidi to follow in her footsteps when it comes to her career. Talking about her wishes for her children, she commented that she'd love to see her go into the I'm A Celebrity... jungle with her best mate, Katie Price's daughter Princess, also 18. The two old friends delighted audiences with their adult pantomime last Christmas, and decided to take their double-act on tour. An Evening with Katie Price & Kerry Katona will run from September to November. It comes after Katie Price worries fans with appearance in family photo after explaining weight loss . The official listing for their tour says the pair "are looking forward to hitting the road together and sharing stories of marriage and divorce, bankruptcy, I'm A Celebrity, the importance of family, their constant press attention and turning their lives around." But when challenged by critics over her dream for Heidi to go onto reality TV, she hit back at 'nepo-baby' claims. Kerry said: "Everyone talks about nepotism right, but everyone has a contact for somebody." She told the Sun: "I can open a door for you. Whether you get through that door and you stay through it, that's on your own f*****g merit." Kerry then took a swipe at David Beckham's 26-year-old son Brooklyn, who quit football. She remarked: "You don't see Brooklyn Beckham playing f***ing football, because he's s**t." Brooklyn played for Arsenal's youth squad until he was 16 but wasn't awarded a scholarship. He instead decided to become a photographer and also has his own hot sauce brand. Elsewhere, Katie Price weighed in on her daughter Princess' upcoming documentary, which follows the teen on the lead-up to her 18th birthday. But despite her mum's high-profile in the UK, Princess will be the star of the show, with Katie banned from taking part in her documentary. To add insult to injury, Katie's ex Peter Andre and his wife, NHS doctor Emily, will feature in the documentary. A source told MailOnline: "Katie will not be in Princess's show, the decision has been made and it's final. Princess loves her mum, and they have a great relationship, but the show is all about her work and home life. "Television bosses were adamant that nothing was to be 'staged' to include Katie as it would not be a real and truthful insight into her life." But mum-of-five Katie seems to feel pushed out by the move, bringing up the issue on her podcast, before being swiftly moved on by her sister Sophie. She said: "Princess is now officially an adult so mummy and Princess can now go out together. If certain people would let her be seen with me. "Everyone knows she's doing this documentary - and I'm not in it. Certain people don't think it's good for Princess to be seen with me. Certain people that used to look after me." "You aren't on brand, Katie. You are too risky, Katie, that's why," her sister quipped. "It's pathetic. I'm her mother," Katie snapped. "It's so sad. When certain people who used to look after me are now looking after..." Katie was then cut off by her sister Sophie, who encouraged her to "save it for another day."

Get Me Out Of Here! in 2004, which Kerry won, they hope that Princess and Kerry's daughter Heidi, also 18, will one day find themselves in the jungle together. "I'm desperate for Princess and Heidi to do the Jungle together, imagine," Kerry said. Katie added: "I always say Love Island. Heidi and Princess need to do it together." Kerry commented: "The way I see it is, forget management, forget fame, what an amazing memory, what an amazing adventure. So I think if Heidi goes to Love Island for three months and has the best time then that's amazing." She added that while people may be quick to criticise their children for being "nepo-babies", she insists that everybody has a contact, somewhere.

Andy Whyment shares glimpse of VIP at Oasis gig as he meets his idol
A dream came true for Coronation Street star Andy Whyment as he got to meet Noel Gallagher before Oasis took to the stage in Manchester's Heaton Park on Friday night Coronation Street star Andy Whyment has been having a time getting to meet music hero Noel Gallagher at an Oasis concert. The 44-year-old soap star - famous for playing Kirk Sutherland on the ITV show since 2000 - was at the first Heaton Park gig of the month watching the Champagne Supernova singers on stage. Andy was one of 80,000 fans that gathered in the north Manchester park on Friday night to see Noel, 58, reunite with younger brother Liam Gallagher, 52, to belt out all of their biggest hits. And with his own star power, the ITV star was able to make his way backstage and meet Noel ahead of the gig – thanks to his I'm A Celebrity... pal Shaun Ryder. It wasn't just the singer that Andy ended up rubbing shoulders with, as he also posed for a selfie with Manchester City player Jack Grealish, 29, too as well as spending time with his TV pal Shaun, 62. Taking to Instagram on Saturday, Andy shared a string of snaps and video clips from his exciting night out. The cover of his collection of images showed him standing beside Noel with a hand resting on the rocker's shoulder. With a beaming smile, Andy looked pleased as punch to meet the star. He wrote in an accompanying caption: "@oasis are my favourite band and last night at Heaton Park I got to meet my idol Noel Gallagher. I can't thank my mate @shaunryderx enough for getting us friends and family passes, I've seen Oasis a couple of times before but last night was a real pinch myself moment for me and @nicski31." Oasis will play a further four nights at the venue - including tonight - and the Corrie star insisted fans would be blown away. He concluded his post writing: "If you've got tickets you're in for a treat they sound amazing. OASIS ARE BACK!!!!" His carousel of content included a selfie with footballer Jack who responded in the comments of the post, writing: "What a man you are." And many others reacted to the posts expressing envy that the soap actor had managed to enjoy such a momentous night. Oasis are performing in front of a home crowd at Heaton Park over five nights this month, with performances planned on July 11, 12, 16, 19 and 20. Access to the venue is granted from 3pm on the dates of the performances with the music beginning from 6pm sharp. Iconic Britpop band Cast are first to take to the stage to entertain the 80,000 strong crowd with an hour long set, with Richard Ashcroft taking over at 7pm. Liam and Noel will then take to the stage with their band at 8.15pm where they will blast through a selection of their hits. Having smashed through two shows in Wales earlier in the month, reviewers attending the first of the Manchester shows on Friday 11 July noted that the boys had eased into their showman roles. The brothers share banter with the crowd, sing side-by-side, duet and engage the audience to sing together on epic songs including Champagne Supernova. The show climaxes with a huge fireworks finale - with crowds then spilling onto the streets of Manchester where songs echo around the city. The Oasis Live '25 Tour will keep Liam and Noel and their band busy until the end of the year as they have 41 nights on the road in total. Their final date is set for 23 November when the brothers will bow out on their tour with a final concert at the MorumBIS stadium in São Paulo, Brazil.
