Danny Jones' wife Georgia 'set for new This Morning role' after kiss scandal

McFly's Danny Jones' wife is reportedly in talks for a permanent role on This Morning after impressing TV bosses with her candid personality when discussing post-natal depression The wife of McFly's star Danny Jones is being considered for a more permanent role on This Morning after impressing bosses with her ability to open up about post-natal depression. Georgia Jones, who is a mum of one, is being lined up to be more of a regular on the popular daytime show. But this comes just months after Danny was allegedly caught kissing his I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here campmate, Maura Higgins. The pair were caught, in what has been described as an intimate embrace, in February at a BRITS after-party. Weathering their rough patch, Georgia, 38, now appears to be focusing on her TV career. ‌ ‌ A source told The Sun that her ability to sit down with other mums who have also experienced depression following the birth of their child, caught the attention of bosses. The insider told the publication: "She has interviewed other mums who have experienced post Natal depression and is very open herself. Producers are hopeful that if she if the collaboration goes well Georgia will become a new face of the show. " They added: "She has a really successful podcast and a loyal following which is ideal for helping to boost viewing figures." ‌ Danny has also spoken about Georgia's experience with post-natal depression while on I'm A Celeb. At the time, he revealed: "Looking back she had post Natal depression and that is so hard and what made it harder is that she didn't know. I wanted to try and fix it and go 'come on you can do this' and that's not what she needed." Last month, as a nod to Mental Health Week, Georgia posted a message on social media to remind her followers to check on their mum friends. ‌ She wrote: "A little thought from me. When I had little man. i didn't know this new me. I didn't particularly like her. I hadn't met her and I doubted her ability.I wanted the old me back, but without realising it, I needed to feel it and cry. I hid the doubt and lack of control I felt." She added: "'d never experienced any wobble with my mental was new too. So I did the worst thing. I pushed it down and tried to hide Can you new mummies promise me one be honest, feel the feels." ‌ Georgia concluded: "Parenting is not perfect." And while her career appears to be going from strength to strength, the same does not seem tom be the case with her marriage. According to reports, the couple no longer have the same innocent relationship they shared before Danny's alleged drunken kiss. And it has been more than a month since the pair have been pictured together. At the end of last month Georgia gave her followers a peek into her life, but did not mention Danny. Sharing a number of pictures with her son Cooper and friends, she captioned the post saying: "Life lately… Friends, family, filming, fresh air and fun… lots of lovely fun." At the time of the scandal, Danny made an apology for "putting them in this situation." He also continued to stay at the family's west London home. Sources have told the MailOnline that the pair are more similar to "passing ships" than a happy couple.

Katie Price pull out of joint tour with Kerry Katona and issues statement

Katie Price has quit her UK tour with Kerry Katona due to 'childcare commitments' leaving the entire 38-date tour in jeopardy three months before first show Katie Price has confirmed that she has made the decision to quit her 38-date UK tour with Kerry Katona, over "childcare commitments." The pair, who first met while on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here back in 2004, were set to embark on a nationwide tour together, which had been titled An Evening with Katie and Kerry - On Tour. It remains unknown whether Kerry, 44, will fulfil her side of the agreement and tour by herself or if the entire tour will be cancelled. ‌ A source claimed the model is 'gutted' and 'tried everything she could' in order to make the tour work, but has been forced to pull out of the tour. ‌ The source claimed to The Sun: "She hates letting her fans down and hopes to be able to do something similar in the future. At the moment, it's unclear whether Kerry will continue without her or if the whole tour will be scrapped." Keen to quell speculation of a rift between the two, the source claimed that both women are "still best of mates, but it's a huge blow to their fans." ‌ And a representative for Katie, 47, who is a mother of five confirmed: "Yes, that's correct. Kate has childcare commitments that come first." The first show was scheduled to be held at Ellesmere Port on September 11 and the tour was set to end in October 22 in Hull. The premise of the show was to treat fans to anecdotes of their two decade friendship, their marriages, divorces and bankruptcy issues. The tour was also set to address their time on I'm A Celebrity, family values and their journey towards turning their lives around, along with audience participation. ‌ Promoting their show before the shock announcement, a post on a ticket site said: "Join them for an evening that promises to be warm, inspirational, motivational and lots of fun!" It continued: "There will also be some song and dance and an opportunity for audience questions." And to make matters worse, meet and greet tickets were also being promoted with one theatre stating: "40 Meet & Greet tickets are available for an exclusive after-show Meet & Greet with the ladies." Back in March, theatre production company ABPLTD took to Instagram and posted: "AN EVENING WITH KATIE AND KERRY - ON TOUR @kerrykatona7 and @katieprice are heading out on the road this autumn for a tell-all tour sharing stories of their friendship, marriage and divorce, bankruptcy, 'I'm A Celebrity', the importance of family, their constant press attention and turning their lives around.

The Chase star with surprising new job away from ITV quiz show

It's been revealed that a star of The Chase has recently landed a surprising new job away from the ITV quiz show. Anne Hegerty, 66, better known as The Governess on the Bradley Walsh general knowledge series, has been part of The Chase for 16 years. Since 2010, she has sometimes taken on other work in between recordings, even appearing on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here in 2018. Among those other opportunities Anne has taken up is her history of performing in Christmas pantomimes up and down the country since 2014. And it's been announced this week that her surprising job away from The Chase is being picked back up again, with Christmas 2025 shows already booked in. The news was broken by the X account of the Spa Hall in Scarborough, which is an entertainment, conferencing, and wedding venue in the north east town. In a post, the account said: 'We are delighted to announce that back by popular demand for Beauty and the Beast will be The Governess, Anne Hegerty!' The Scarborough Spa then promised more star names, with TV presenter Jake Quickenden among them, playing the role of Gaston in the production. In the refashioned Beauty and the Beast, Anne – 'back by popular demand' – will be playing the Fairy Rose, otherwise known as the Enchanted Rose in the 1991 film. The Enchanted Rose acts as something of a clock for the Beast, with each falling petal reminding him of the time he's got – or hasn't got – left to find his true love. Scarborough Spa's productions of Beauty and the Beast will run from December 6, 2025 all the way through to New Year's Day in 2026. Despite this seeming like a surprising turn for Anne, the truth is that, when she's not playing The Chase as The Governess, she's been performing in panto for years. Starting in 2014, she first appeared in a Northwich production of Cinderella, starring as one of the wicked stepmothers at the Cheshire-based Grange Theatre. More Trending Later on, she starred as the Empress of China in a re-telling of Aladdin in Torquay, before trading the south coast for the north east in a Middlesbrough-born production of Sleeping Beauty. In 2022, she revealed that she started to be approached by panto directors after setting up a Twitter account – back when it was still called Twitter and relatively new. 'I did panto [but] I was really fairly terrible the first time. I was technically bad, I used to miss cues, so I stumbled through it. Then got offered more and I've been doing it ever since,' she told the Swindon Advertiser. View More » She continued: 'I enjoy doing the panto, it's a chance to act and a chance to sing, a chance to act, a chance to be funny more than one gets in The Chase.' Got a story? But it seems plenty of people are keen to see him branch out into the TV world! Sign up for the Rangers newsletter Sign up 3 Could Ally McCoist head for the reality TV world? Credit: PA 3 Roman Kemp has tipped McCoist to win a HUGE reality show Credit: PA Towards the end of last year, talk reached fever pitch that McCoist was set to appear on the recent series of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here. He'd previously turned down an appearance on the hit ITV show in 2019 and again in 2022. Unfortunately for anyone keen to see Coisty getting stuck into things Down Under, he quickly confirmed he WOULDN'T be appearing. Amid the rife rumours at the end of last year, he said: "No, there's your answer. "It's brilliant, my wee mate Durranty phoned me, he says, 'What a decision you've got to make.' "'Sitting on the half way line in the best seats in the house, at the San Siro watching Inter Milan vs Man City or Inter Milan vs Arsenal, or eating a bag of spiders.' "It's not bad, is it?" Two people who certainly seem keen to see McCoist head for the jungle are his talkSPORT Breakfast co-presenter Alan Brazil and Roman Kemp, who appeared on the 2019 edition of I'm A Celebrity. BBC presenter Kemp joined McCoist and Brazil on talkSPORT Breakfast to discuss Arsenal's clash with PSG in the Champions League tonight. Kemp's a huge Arsenal fan, while McCoist is in Paris to cover the game for TNT Sports. Prince William made TNT Sports pundits 'nervous' before viral interview at PSG vs Aston Villa clash But Brazil couldn't help but turn the conversation to I'm A Celebrity before letting Kemp head off. Brazil asked: "Roman, you came third in 2019 in the jungle, has Mr McCoist got the patience for that? "Could he be in there? Should he be there? Could he win it?" Urging McCoist to take the leap and head onto the programme, Kemp said: "Literally, Ally please do it. "I will say from me, Ally, it is the best time you would ever have and you would be phenomenal." McCoist replied: 'Honestly?" Kemp then told the Scotland legend that he'd WIN the show if he went on it. He added: "Yeah - I think you would be amazing. I think you'd be the best TV and also Alan would be here you know voting for you to eat kangaroo parts.. "Put it this way, I'm going to say this first. I'm gonna say this first. If you do it, you win it." Laughing, McCoist replied: "That's very kind of you, that's a bit of a sweeping statement, Roman." Brazil then joked: "Roman, what you forgot to say is, did you mention 750 grand for getting in there? That might change his mind, don't worry about that." Undeterred, Kemp quipped: "ITV have got the money, don't worry." 3 Keep up to date with ALL the latest news and transfers at the Scottish Sun football page
