Varun Chakravarthy Stays At No. 3; Adil Rashid Up To 2nd In Latest T20I Rankings

England's Adil Rashid climbed to second in the ICC Men's T20I Bowling Rankings as Ben Duckett and Harry Brook also rose in the batting rankings.
Several players from England's white-ball team climbed the ICC Men's T20I Rankings after stellar performances against the West Indies, with veteran leg-spinner Adil Rashid leading the charge.
Rashid, 37, displayed remarkable consistency in England's 3-0 T20I series victory, returning figures of 1/22 at Chester-le-Street, 1/59 in a high-scoring encounter at Bristol, and a decisive 2/30 in the final match at Southampton.
These performances propelled him past both Sri Lanka's Wanindu Hasaranga and India's Varun Chakravarthy to second place in the T20I Bowling Rankings with a rating of 710, just 13 points behind New Zealand's Jacob Duffy, the current number one.
Rashid's ascent underscores England's dominant form, extending their winning momentum from the preceding ODI series against the same opponents. Pace bowler Brydon Carse also benefited, with his two wickets in the final two T20Is lifting him 16 places to 52nd in the rankings.
The series witnessed a flurry of runs, reflected in the batting rankings. Ben Duckett made a significant impact with a blistering 84 off 46 balls in the third T20I, elevating him 48 places to a career-best 16th. Harry Brook's rapid innings of 35* and 34 saw him rise six places to joint-38th.
The West Indies also had their share of success. Captain Shai Hope's two scores of 40-plus helped him climb 14 places to 15th in the batting rankings, while Rovman Powell's unbeaten 79 off 45 balls in the final game secured him a place in the top 20. All-rounder Jason Holder enjoyed a productive series, moving up 16 places to 26th in the All-Rounder Rankings thanks to his 70 runs and a crucial wicket.
