Watch: Rani Mukerji Jets Off In Style Amid Heavy Mumbai Rains
Last Updated: Rani Mukerji opted for a casual yet chic all-black look and wore a shirt paired with matching pants, dark shades and a handbag. Even heavy Mumbai rains could not stop Rani Mukerji from being the workaholic she is. Trust us when we say this, as the diva was snapped at the airport on Monday morning jetting off to an undisclosed location amid downpour in the city. Her appearance is a testament to her commitment to work. In a video shared on Instagram, the actress could be seen stepping out of her car and walking towards the airport entrance. The actress also treated the shutterbugs, stationed at the location with a warm smile and posed for them before the security check. She opted for a casual yet chic all-black look and wore a shirt paired with matching pants, dark shades and a handbag. Recently, reports suggested that the actress might be collaborating with superstar Shah Rukh Khan in his upcoming highly anticipated action thriller, King, after a long wait of 19 years. The last time they appeared together was in 2006 for Karan Johar's Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the shooting of King has already started at Mehboob Studios in Mumbai. Apart from SRK and Rani, the film also boasts an ensemble cast including Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Suhana Khan, Saurabh Shukla, Abhay Verma, Arshad Warsi, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff and others. The film is expected to be released in the second half of 2026. However, an official confirmation regarding the same from the makers is still awaited. Rani will also be seen in the much-awaited cop thriller film, Mardaani 3, slated to hit the big screens on February 27, 2026. Produced by Yash Raj Films, it will mark Rani's return as the fearless cop, Shivani Shivaji Roy. It is directed by Abhiraj Minawala, who is an associate director on War 2 (featuring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR) and has also worked on significant projects like Band Baaja Baraat, Sultan and Tiger 3. Mardaani 3 will mark Rani's return to the big screen after a brief hiatus. She was last seen in the emotional drama, Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway, for which she even won the IIFA Best Actress award. Actor-director Kunal Kemmu rang in his 42nd birthday, holidaying with wife Soha Ali Khan and daughter Inaaya in Maldives. Soha posted pictures of their vacation which are a perfect mix of fun, relaxation, and adventure. Have a look. In one picture, the couple is enjoying a lavish dinner with their daughter with Maldives' breathtaking horizon in the background. Actor Kartik Aaryan extended warm birthday wishes to filmmaker Karan Johar, calling him the 'ray of entertainment.' Aaryan shared a throwback image from an IIFA practice session, featuring their light-hearted camaraderie. He also used a tune from their upcoming film, "Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri," slated for release on February 13, 2026. Actor Kartik Aaryan wished filmmaker Karan Johar a happy birthday as he turned 53 on May 25, and called him the "ray of entertainment." Suniel Shetty calls Salman Khan misunderstood, defends his box office failures: ‘We call his ₹200 crore film a flop'
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has often spoken about how Suniel Shetty supported him during tough times and has expressed great admiration for him. In a recent interview with Lallantop, Suniel has now spoken about Salman being the most misunderstood person and defended his recent box office setbacks. If I had to describe him in words, one would be 'human being' and the other 'being human' – that is Salman. He is a human of another level with every act of his. I share a beautiful relationship with him. I don't meet him regularly, but there is a lot of love and respect." He went on to defend Salman's recent films that underperformed at the box office, saying, 'Unki flop hum ₹200 crore ki film ki baat karte hain, jabki aadhi industry ke liye vo hit nahi superhit hai (We call his ₹200 crore film a flop, whereas for half the industry, that would be considered not just a hit but a superhit). Sometimes you go wrong in selection of films. And he works from heart. When Salman gets a good subject film it will do magic. Unki naa chalne waali film ₹200 crore kamati hai. iss saal ki saari films ka number dekhlena you'll know it will be lower than a Salman Khan film (Even his underperforming films earn ₹200 crore. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan faced criticism and earned only ₹184.6 crore worldwide. His next release, Tiger 3, which also starred Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi, underperformed as well, collecting ₹464 crore worldwide. His most recent release, Sikandar, received mixed responses from the audience and was criticised for its dull storyline. According to the makers, the film earned over ₹200 crore in just 10 days; however, Sacnilk reported a worldwide collection of ₹184.6 crore. Salman will next be seen in another action film alongside Sanjay Dutt. He also has Sajid Nadiadwala's Kick 2 in the pipeline. Meanwhile, Suniel was most recently seen in Kesari Veer and will next appear in Welcome to the Jungle, which also stars Sanjay Dutt, Paresh Rawal, Akshay Kumar, Lara Dutta, Raveena Tandon, and others in key roles.
