The final draw for the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025 & FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025 was held on 25 May 2025 at the Raffles Doha. The group stage lineups were revealed for the two tournaments to be hosted by Qatar.

Qatar has been placed in Group A of the 11th edition of the FIFA Arab Cup 2025, following the official draw held Sunday in Doha.
Qatar will compete in the group alongside Tunisia, Palestine, Libya, and the winner of the qualifying match between Syria and South Sudan.
The tournament will take place from 1 December to 18 December in Doha under the supervision of FIFA, marking the second consecutive edition held in Qatar.
FIFA previously awarded Qatar hosting rights for the next three Arab Cup editions - 2025, 2029 and 2033.
According to the draw, Group B includes Morocco, Saudi Arabia, and the winners of the Oman vs. Somalia and Yemen vs. Comoros qualifiers.
Group C features Egypt, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, and the winner of Kuwait vs. Mauritania.
Group D includes Algeria, Iraq, and the winners of Bahrain vs. Djibouti and Lebanon vs. Sudan.
The draw ceremony featured former football stars including Qatar's Hassan Al-Haydos, Algeria's Rabah Madjer, Saudi Arabia's Yasser Al-Qahtani, and Egypt's Wael Gomaa.
FIFA based team seeding on the April 3 FIFA World Ranking, with nine nations receiving direct entry to the final tournament and 14 teams set to compete in the preliminary round (playoffs), scheduled for Nov. 25-26 - just days before the main competition kicks off.
The four top-seeded teams - Qatar (host), Algeria (defending champions), Egypt, and Morocco - were assigned to lead the four groups.
Second-tier seeds included Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Jordan.
The third tier featured the UAE and three playoff winners, while the fourth tier will consist of four remaining qualifiers.
FIFA previously announced the seven qualifying matchups, divided by geographic region between Africa and Asia: Oman vs. Somalia; Bahrain vs. Djibouti; Syria vs. South Sudan; Palestine vs. Libya; Lebanon vs. Sudan; Kuwait vs. Mauritania; Yemen vs. Comoros.
Based on the latest FIFA rankings, the nine teams that qualified directly to the finals are: Qatar (ranked 55), Morocco (12), Egypt (32), Algeria (36), Tunisia (49), Saudi Arabia (58), Iraq (59), Jordan (62), and the UAE (65).
The last edition, FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2021, was considered a major success. Held at 2022 World Cup venues, it attracted more than 571,000 spectators over 32 matches - averaging nearly 18,000 fans per game.
Algeria won that tournament with a 2-0 extra-time victory over Tunisia in the final, held at Al Bayt Stadium in front of more than 60,000 fans.

The draw for the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025, held in Doha today, placed the Qatari national team in Group A alongside Italy, South Africa, and Bolivia.
Doha will host the tournament from 3 November to 27 November, with 48 teams participating. This is the first of five editions that FIFA has granted Qatar the right to host until 2029. The expanded format will see this number of teams participate for the first time in the history of FIFA tournaments and the World Cup in all its categories.
Former Qatari national team player Abdulaziz Al-Sulaiti and German Al-Ahly player Julian Draxler participated in the draw.
The participating teams will play 104 matches over 25 days at eight stadiums within the Aspire Academy for Sports Excellence, while the final will be held at Khalifa International Stadium.
According to the draw, the 48 participating teams were divided into 12 groups, each containing four teams, competing in a first round. The top two teams from the 12 groups, along with the best eight third-placed teams, will qualify for the second round, bringing the total to 32 teams.
The second group included the teams of Japan, Morocco, New Caledonia, and Portugal, while the third group included the teams of Senegal, Croatia, Costa Rica, and the Emirates.
Group D included Argentina, Belgium, Tunisia, and Fiji. Group E included England, Venezuela, Haiti, and Egypt, while Group S featured Mexico, South Korea, Côte d'Ivoire, and Switzerland.
Group 7 included Germany, Colombia, North Korea, and El Salvador. Group 8 included Brazil, Honduras, Indonesia, and Zambia. Group 9 included the United States, Burkina Faso, Tajikistan, and the Czech Republic.
Group 10 included Paraguay, Uzbekistan, Panama, and Ireland. Group 11 included France, Chile, Canada, and Uganda. Group 12, the final group, included Mali, New Zealand, Austria, and Saudi Arabia.
The knockout stages will begin with the Round of 32 in a controlled format, moving on to the Round of 16, the quarter-finals, the semi-finals, and finally the final match, which will be held on November 27.
FIFA has divided the 48 participating teams into four levels, each containing 12 teams. Host Qatar tops Level 1 and then Group 1, and will play its opening match on November 3.
The first level included the teams of Qatar, Brazil, France, Mali, Germany, Mexico, Argentina, England, Japan, Paraguay, the United States, and Senegal.
The second level included the teams of South Korea, Morocco, Uzbekistan, Italy, Belgium, New Zealand, Chile, Venezuela, Croatia, Colombia, Honduras, and Burkina Faso.
The third level includes Costa Rica, Tajikistan, Panama, Indonesia, North Korea, Côte d'Ivoire, Tunisia, New Caledonia, Canada, South Africa, Australia, and Haiti.
The fourth level includes the UAE, Portugal, Czech Republic, Ireland, Switzerland, Zambia, Egypt, Uganda, Bolivia, Saudi Arabia, El Salvador, and Fiji.
According to the seats allocated by FIFA to the continental federations in the qualifiers, the Asian continent obtained nine seats, including one seat allocated to the host country, Qatar. Europe obtained 11 seats, Africa 10 seats, CONCACAF 8 seats, South America 7 seats, and Oceania obtained three seats.
The tournament was first held in 1985. Nigeria is the most successful team, with five titles, followed by Brazil with four. Saudi Arabia is the only Arab country to have won the tournament, having won it in 1989. The current title holder is Germany, who won the most recent edition in 2023.
