There's no cinema quite like a Dubai cinema.
If you've watched a flick on the big screen anywhere else around the world, you'll know that this city watches movies in style.
But now, the cinema experience has just been dialed up another notch (yes, really) with the launch of the IMAX Experience at The Theatre at Vox Cinemas.
Tucked up inside Mall of the Emirates, this movie magic has gone *all out* to make you feel like a VIP.

If you're considering the screen for your next blockbuster, here's everything to expect.
What to expect
Arrive early before your movie, so you can make the most of the THEATRE lounge, complete with welcome drinks, pool tables and even shuffleboards for a quick game before the trailers start rolling.
Ranging from around Dhs225 a ticket, popcorn is included, but of course, you can order some other treats once you're in there.
And by treats, we mean a full three-course meal if you fancied it. Whether you choose burger sliders, a steak sandwich or dynamite shrimp, enjoy personal butler service.
Speaking of the seats, these reclining beauties are also heated, and complete with a blanket and a wireless phone charger. However, this means the main challenge is trying not to doze off during the movie.
Once the film gets going, the facilities are impressive, from the IMAX projection to the sound system and a great view no matter where you're sat.
Just like that, the credits will be rolling and you'll be slowly trying to clamber out of the chair you've just spent the last couple hours sinking into.
But the fun doesn't stop there. On your way out, you'll even be greeted with an adorable box of chocolates.
Giving a Hollywood premiere experience (without the celebrity price tag), this cinema is so Dubai and we love it.
