Summerset Winery won't open for 2025 season
INDIANOLA, Iowa — Summerset Winery announced on Wednesday that it will be closed for the 2025 season. Sukup Manufacturing named new title sponsor of INDYCAR Race Weekend at Iowa Speedway The winery said that during the winter there was a water main break that caused extensive damage to the electrical systems, flooring, and heating and cooling units. Due to the damage, the winery will be closed for the season to repair the damage. While the winery won't be hosting weddings, Easter celebrations, or Sunday Tunes, guests can still rent the winery's Airbnb. Fans of the winery will still be able to find them at the Downtown Des Moines Farmers Market and at most Hy-Vee and Fareway stores. A reopening date has not been announced. Sukup Manufacturing named new title sponsor of INDYCAR Race Weekend at Iowa Speedway
NEWTON, Iowa — Sukup Manufacturing Company will be the new title sponsor of the INDYCAR Race Weekend at the Iowa Speedway. INDYCAR leaders announced the news on Thursday. Sukup Manufacturing has sponsored other INDYCAR races in the past, including the Sukup INDY NXT by Firestone, and has sponsored INDYCAR Pole Day. Did you notice the heat burst in Iowa this morning? The news comes after event organizers announced in February that Hy-Vee would no longer be the title sponsor for the race weekend.
