Bahrain Development Bank Participates in INJAZ Bahrain 2025 Young Entrepreneurs Competition

Bahrain Development Bank (BDB) – the leading bank in supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has announced its participation in the 17th edition of the INJAZ Bahrain 2025 Young Entrepreneurs Competition. Scheduled to take place on the 3rd and 4th of June at Crowne Plaza Hotel, the event underscores BDB's ongoing commitment to encouraging youth innovation and promoting an entrepreneurial mindset within the local community. Student teams from schools and universities across the Kingdom are expected to take part in this national platform. The competition offers an interactive educational experience that simulates the process of launching a start-up, providing young Bahrainis with a unique opportunity to develop entrepreneurial skills. Participants will undergo a comprehensive hands-on journey that includes product development, business planning, marketing, and resource management, culminating in presentations before a panel of expert judges from both the public and private sectors. Commenting on the occasion, Ali Al Aradi, Chief Banking Officer at Bahrain Development Bank, stated: 'At Bahrain Development Bank, we take pride in supporting initiatives that invest in the potential of our youth, offering them opportunities for creativity and growth. This competition serves as a living model of the entrepreneurial spirit deeply rooted in our community. Our participation reflects our belief in the power of nurturing promising ideas and turning them into impactful ventures. We also value our partnership with INJAZ Bahrain, which plays a pivotal role in shaping a new generation of leaders and innovators capable of driving the future of the national economy.' BDB's involvement in this initiative reinforces its dedication to empower the younger generation and help them to transform their ideas into real-world projects with meaningful economic and social impact. Ali Al Aradi will also serve as a member of the judging panel for INJAZ Bahrain 2025 Young Entrepreneurs Competition, highlighting the bank's executive-level support for initiatives aimed at building youth capabilities and preparing them to enter the business world with confidence and competence. This participation further underscores BDB's broader role in fostering human capital development and skill-building, in parallel with offering innovative financial solutions to small and medium enterprises. Through strategic collaborations such as this, BDB continues to strengthen its position as a financial institution that believes investing in human resources is key to achieving long-term sustainable economic growth.
