IPL 2025 final likely to be in Ahmedabad; Mumbai may stage playoff match
MUMBAI: The Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad is likely to stage the final of 2025, while the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai is set to stage a playoff match, TOI has learnt. The 17 matches in the revised schedule include 13 league games and the four playoffs. The revised schedule includes two double-headers, which will be played on two Sundays. The first of the two double-headers in the revised schedule is Rajasthan Royals versus Punjab Kings as the day game (3.30 pm) on May 18, and Delhi Capitals vs Gujarat Titans later that evening. The next Sunday, May 25, will see GT take on Chennai Super Kings in the day game in Ahmedabad, followed by Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) vs KKR in Delhi from 7.30 pm.
