The 1% Club players stumped by ‘easy' question that knocks out 23 people – would you have got it?

Would you have given the correct answer? NO WORDS The 1% Club players stumped by 'easy' question that knocks out 23 people – would you have got it? ON TONIGHT'S edition of The 1% Club, 23 players were eliminated by an 'easy' question. Lee Mack took to the airwaves on ITV to present another instalment of the popular gameshow. 5 23 players were eliminated from The 1% Club in a shocking round Credit: ITV 5 Lee Mack took to the airwaves on Saturday night to front the popular game show Credit: ITV 5 Many viewers said the question was 'easy' - but would you have got it right? Credit: itv The 1% Club doesn't test players on their general knowledge, instead contestants have to solve riddles. 100 players have to use common sense as they are tasked with solving questions based on logic and reasoning skills. They are only given a 30 second time limit as they are whittled down as the questions get harder and harder. In the end, they have the chance to enter the prestigious club by answering a question that only one percent of the public would get right. The 56-year-old presenter moved onto the 70% question as he asked the remaining players to solve a question. "John writes with his right hand and the last word he'd right if he was writing this sentence would be be. "If Keith writes with his left hand, what would be the last word he would write in the sentence above?" Of course the answer was the word 'be', as a different writing hand would not change the last word, something which many viewers playing along got correct. However, a whopping 23 players in the studio answered the riddle incorrectly and they were eliminated from the game. Viewers took to social media in droves as they couldn't believe so many players left the game after such an 'easy' question. The 1% Club knocks out 17 players on difficult numbers question Writing on X - formerly known as Twitter - one user posted a GIF of Reese Witherspoon as her Legally Blonde alter-ego, Elle Woods. The image of the iconic film character sarcastically mouthed the question, "What, like it's hard?" "How did 23 get this wrong?," asked a second user with a monkey covering his eyes emoji. While a third exclaimed: "TWENTY THREE out on THAT?!?!" As someone else stated: "How t* have 23 gone out?? Being left handed doesnt mean you write words in the wrong order." And a fifth fan added: "Too many people thinking too hard on that one #The1PercentClub." Because of the huge elimination, the jackpot prize rose significantly to huge levels. The £5,000 pot rose to a whopping £28,000 as nearly a quarter of the total amount of players were eliminated. 5 The different hands would not have effected the structure of the sentance Credit: ITV 5 As nearly a quarter of the players were eliminated, thousands of pounds were added to the prize pot The 1% Club continues on ITV1 and is available to watch back on ITVX.

However, viewers were less interested in what the lady was saying, and more enthralled by her hair. As she appeared to have completely forgotten that she had a pink claw clip secured to the front of her hair. It looked as though she had clipped back the hair that usually falls over her face while finishing off her make-up. And after the programme aired, hundreds of people took to TikTok to share a clip of the woman's interview. Casey was one of them, as she wrote over the top of her video: "Do you think she's completely forgotten she's left this in?" She added that she'd been left "crying" with laughter after watching the show. While Dan giggled: "She looks a right state! "What the heck is going on? She's got a bl**dy clip on her head!" I paid £80 for a haircut but was left bawling when I saw the results - it was like he'd never cut locks before And the comments sections of both videos were quickly filled with others laughing about the woman's hair fail. "Omg I saw that and thought she will be mortified when she sees herself later!" one wrote. "I said this to my husband, I was howling!!" another giggled. "The interviewers well targeted her when they spotted her!" a third said. "Thought I was seeing things this morning when I was watching," someone else admitted. "Why did no-one tell her?" another wondered. Visit our Good Morning Britain page for the latest updates As someone else wrote: "Poor cow, why didn't anyone tell her? "That reporter did her dirty!" While others shared their own similar embarrassing situations with hair fails. "I used a clip like this to hold back my fringe when driving… wasn't until after the meal and I got back into the car 2hours later and glanced at the mirror I noticed I had been walking around looking just like that woman," one sighed. "Done my big food shop with my toddler's Peppa Pig clip holding my fringe back, not one single person told me!" another admitted. "I've done this so many times but luckily remember before I get out the car," a third commented.
