Kendrick Lamar's Not Like Us won the Webby Award for Music Video, Creator Excellence, bringing another feather to the rapper's cap.
The winners of the 29th Annual Webby Awards have been announced, celebrating excellence across the internet. This year, several musical powerhouses were recognised, including Kendrick Lamar, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Selena Gomez and Cynthia Erivo. Alongside these celebrated artists, notable brands and digital creators also secured wins, reflecting the diverse range of talent honoured at the event.
To begin with, Kendrick Lamar's Not Like Us went on to win the Webby Award for Music Video, Creator Excellence, bringing another feather to the rapper's cap. Gracie Abrams' The Secret of Us (Short Film) I Vevo Extended Play bagged the People's Voice Award for Music, General Video & Film, whereas Gaga's A Digital Home for a Global Pop Icon won the award for Entertainment, General Desktop & Mobile Sites (Websites and Mobile Sites).
Others to win from the field of music included Taylor Swift, Gomez, Rihanna, Benson Boone, Mariah Carey, Laufef, Jelly Roll with MGK, and Questlove for their digital achievements.
The Webby Awards also dished out special achievement awards to Snoop Dogg (Entrepreneur of the Year), Amelia Dimoldenberg (Webby Special Achievement), Walton Goggins (Best Actor for The White Lotus), Jasmine Crockett (Advocate of the Year), and Marcello Hernandez (Outstanding Comedic Performance). Additionally, Dr Fei-Fei Li is set to receive the lifetime achievement award.
The 2025 Webby Awards will be held on May 12 at the Cipriani Wall Street in New York City. It will be hosted by Ilana Glazer. Presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), the Webbys honours excellence in major media types including Websites and Mobile Sites; Video & Film; Advertising, Media & PR; Apps & Software; Social; Podcasts; AI, Immersive & Games, followed by a new addition this year with Creators.
