In an emotional Instagram post, Daily admits she "wasn't ready" for the sudden loss of the man she simply called "my Terry."
The devastating revelation comes just one day after Hogan suffered a fatal cardiac arrest at their Clearwater Beach home on Thursday, July 24.

"[Terry] had been dealing with some health issues, I truly believed we would overcome them," Daily confessed to her followers on Friday, July 25. "I had so much faith in his strength. I thought we still had more time."
The couple, who married in 2023, had faced mounting speculation about Hogan's declining health throughout recent months. However, Daily's latest comment shows just how unprepared his family were. "This loss is sudden and impossible to process," she wrote.
For Daily, the world lost a wrestling icon, but she lost something more personal. "To the world, he was a legend… but to me, he was my Terry. The man I loved. My partner. My heart."
Despite the constant pain Hogan faced, Daily said he was dedicated to the fans who had supported him throughout his career.
"Hulk loved his fans so much and despite his growing physical discomfort, he did everything he could to show up, sign autographs, take photos, and connect with the people who supported him through it all," she wrote. "You meant everything to him."
"He was a believer in Christ, and I take comfort knowing his soul is at peace and he's been welcomed home. Please keep his family and all of us who loved him in your prayers as we try to navigate this new reality," Daily concluded.
How Did Hulk Hogan Die?
According to the Clearwater Police Department, officers and fire department personnel responded to a medical call at 9:51 a.m. at their Eldorado Avenue residence. The nature of the emergency was reportedly classified as cardiac arrest.
Hogan was treated by first responders at the scene before being rushed to Morton Plant Hospital. Despite the efforts of medical professionals, the 71-year-old wrestling icon was pronounced dead at 11:17 a.m.
