UFC fighter sends bag of M&Ms to rival to ‘sabotage' his weight-cutting regime
FANS have been left in stitches after Ian Machado Garry hilariously tried to ruin his rival's weight loss regime. The Irish fighter is the reserve for Belal Muhammad vs Jack Della Maddalena at UFC 315 on Saturday night. 3 And as Della Maddalena tries to shed the pounds before the bout, Garry got creative to tempt the Australian into not making weight. He asked AI what his favourite food is and peanut M&Ms were the answer. So Garry brilliantly sent his two-year-old son Leo to gatecrash an interview and hand Della Maddalena a huge bag of the multi-coloured sweets. He saw the funny side as Leo held the bag aloft and said: "Gift for you." A smiling Della Maddalena replied: "They look good, thank you. Legend." He then high-fived Leo before the toddler ran back to his proud dad. Fans found it hilarious, with one saying: "Garry doing everything so he doesn't hit the weight." Another added: "Leo is a gentleman." BEST ONLINE CASINOS - TOP SITES IN THE UK A third wrote: "This was so wholesome." Garry also got his son to pretend to interview Muhammad before the fight and UFC welterweight champion joked he was "the best interviewer he had so far". But aside from the fun, there was plenty of fighting talk from Garry, who told Full Send MMA: "Sean Brady, boring. No one really cares about him. "No one really wants to watch him fight. Half the stadium was empty when him and Leon [Edwards] fought. They don't care about him. "At the end of the day, I'm still taking fights on short notice against the most dangerous guys in the division. "We'll see if that makes the difference when it comes to title contendership."

Benoit Saint Denis turned down short-notice Mateusz Gamrot match up: I get that Saint Denis really needs a bounce back win, but damn if this isn't a much better match up than the one we're getting ... Belal Muhammad rejects Ian Garry's back up role: Ian Garry still doesn't have a Top 10 win and probably shouldn't be as high up in the immediate title talks as he wants to be. Shavkat, Brady, and even Buckley have better arguments at the moment. BJJ star Gabi Pessanha upset after massive win streak: This headline served as a reminder to me that I know very little about who the best gi grapplers in the world are right now. Insomnia Based on my experience with whiteboards and MMA gyms, this is more of a warm up sequence or training routine than true 'fight plan.' While it doesn't take a genius to know that Jack Della Maddalena is going to try to win the jab battle, use uppercuts against a wrestler, and work his way off the cage, it's still not cool that the UFC publicly broadcasted it. I'm sure the JDM coaching staff would've preferred it kept quiet! Advertisement More than one fan speculated that this is some sort of Trojan Horse/trap scenario, which would be quite an exemplary bit of 4D chess. Well, it feels like UFC 315 is guaranteed to produce at least one finish ... A big booking for the 125-pound class: Metallica vs. UFC in the ultimate clash of stinginess.
