Police body cam shows man fire at officers before one fatally shoots him
Fairfax police released body-camera footage showing a police shooting from April that left a motorist dead and two officers injured during a traffic stop on a busy commercial stretch of Route 50 near Greenbriar.
The motorist, 36-year-old Jamal Wali of Fairfax, was shot four times and killed by a third officer, Ian Lachapelle, who was not injured. The other two officers, whom authorities have not named, were transported to a hospital with wounds to their arms, police said.
