A Burnbrae Farms egg-grading facility is breaking ground in Strathroy, with plans to become operational in 2026.
The 150,000 square foot facility will be constructed in Molnar Industrial Park, featuring automated egg grading technologies.
'We're proud to expand our footprint in Strathroy, a place we've called home for more than 45 years,' said Ian McFall, Executive Vice President, foodservice/industrial sales and government relations.
BurnBrae has been part of the Strathroy community for 45 years and is the largest family-owned and operated egg business in Canada.
'This is an exciting day for the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc. Burnbrae Farms has been an outstanding corporate citizen for decades, and we look forward to their continued investment in our community,' said Mayor Colin Grantham.
