62-year-old Wisconsin man killed after reportedly striking pickup truck stopped at a railroad crossing
CHESTER, Wis. (WFRV) – A 62-year-old Waupun man was killed in a three-vehicle crash on Thursday evening after striking a trailer attached to a Ford pickup truck.
The Dodge County Sheriff's Office reported that around 6 p.m., deputies responded to the crash on U.S. Highway 151 about two miles south of State Highway 26 in Chester.

Initial investigations indicate that a 2009 Lincoln driven by a 62-year-old Waupun man struck a 2021 Icehouse Trailer attached to a Ford pickup truck operated by a 42-year-old man from Loyal.
The Ford struck the back of a 2016 Chevy Suburban as a result, which was driven by a 37-year-old Tampa, Florida man. Both the Ford and Chevy were stopped at a railroad crossing for a train when it occurred.

The Ford and Chevy occupants were both uninjured; however, the 62-year-old man driving the Lincoln was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash is still under investigation as no further details were provided.
