3 Reasons why Jacob Fatu must retain the US Title at WWE Backlash
Jacob Fatu should retain. 1. Fatu deserves a long run with the Title 2. None of the other three competitors have momentum 3. Solo Sikoa should take the title away from Fatu The 'Samoan Werewolf' Jacob Fatu won his first singles Championship in WWE when he defeated LA Knight for the United States Championship at WrestleMania 41 . While the burly Samoan is on cloud nine, after his first successful WrestleMania, he is set to defend his Title against not just against LA Knight but also Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre along with him at the WWE Backlash PLE .Now the fatal four-way match for the US Title is one of the talking points among fans, for that 20th edition of is why we think Jacob Fatu should retain his US Title at BacklashAs openly stated by many WWE stalwarts, Fatu has taken away the limelight from his brother and former 'Enforcer' of the Bloodline Solo Sikoa. It was Solo who was going to be the next big thing from the Bloodline before Jacob overtook him. And that has not just happened coincidently, but it was Fatu's explosive athleticism and beast-like abilities in the ring that has caught everyone's attention ever since his emergence in WWE in 2024. Now he deserves a long run with the US Championship and cutting it short within a month of winning it will not just break his momentum as a single's star but also derail the start of a promising WWE other three competitors in the fatal four-way match(Damian Priest, Drew McIntyre and LA Knight) do not have the kind of momentum that Fatu has. The first one the Tag Team Championship and then has done enough to solidify a place in the roster as a solid singles star. Also the fans are on his side more than Solo, which is a testament to the fact that Fatu indeed deserves a longish run with the US Title. LA Knight has just had a good run with the Title, while Priest and McIntyre have had their fair share of opportunities and can afford to wait for their the past two months, the WWE has constantly insinuated a rivalry between Sikoa and Jacob, which has kept the audience and fans excited. Two burly Samoans fighting for the United States Championship would be very spicy and worthy of a main event in a PLE like SummerSlam. Therefore, it would only be apt if Jacob only loses his US Title to Solo(if he has to lose it at all).

CM Punk identifies current Champion of WWE as possible opponent
Who does Punk want to face? CM Punk and Roman Reigns team up for epic Wargames win: Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 highlights The 'Best in the World' CM Punk has been on a roll in WWE ever since his return to the company, back in 2023. He has fought some great battles with the likes of Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins and other big stalwarts of WWE. He even Main evented night one of WrestleMania 41 , something he had not done yet in his illustrious wrestling career. Now, the six time WWE World Champion has targeted a current Champion of WWE as his future talking to Netflix's 'Tudum', Punk shared his mindset on the current WWE dynamics and stars. He had some great words of praise for the likes of Liv Morgan, Finn Balor, former World Heavyweight Champion Gunther and former Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley. But along with them, he has his eyes set on a current Champion, who competed in his first WrestleMania event, and came out victorious. That is none other than the new United States Champion , Jacob Fatu . While he did square up against the 'Samoan Werewolf' during last year's Survivor Series 'WarGames' match when he aided the team of Roman Reigns against the team of Solo Sikoa, that had Jacob in it. But now Punk wants to go one on one with the new 'Enforcer' of the Bloodline.'Guys I want to work with-Jacob Fatu. Got a little taste at WarGames, but one on one stuff is my bread and butter'. As stated earlier, they did have a bit of a tussle during the WarGames match. Notably, at the main event of WrestleMania night one this year, Punk was betrayed by his former manager and close friend Paul Heyman. Not just him, Paul had also betrayed Roman to side with Seth Rollins and help him win the monumental triple threat match which was the most awaited clash of night one at WrestleMania 41. Interestingly, it was out of respect for Heyman that he had joined the team of Roman Reigns at WarGames. Apart from Jacob, he also sounded interested in fighting Finn Balor and Rey Mysterio. 'Finn Balor is fantastic. I selfishly want to lock back up with Rey Mysterio, teach him a lesson for having such a brat kid.' Continued Punk obviously hinting towards Rey's son 'Dirty' Dominik RAW last night, Punk intervened in the World Heavyweight Championship match between Seth Rollins and Jey Uso to help Uso retain his World Heavyweight Championship. He came out with a steel chair and decimated both Bron Breakker and Rollins with it, to save the day for Jey. After Punk's admission to fight Jacob Fatu, who do you think is best suited to go one-on-one with Punk next? Drop your comments below.

At one point of time, no one even wanted his autograph, and he was only signing his bail papers, said Fatu. "I could have never expected this ... I remember looking out a jail cell window man, to looking out of an airplane man, you know just on the way. But it was very special, definitely having my son over here Johnny Fatu, and definitely for my parents to pull up." Fatu said. "I remember nobody wanted my autograph bro. The only thing I was signing bro is when I used to sign my papers bro when I was getting out of jail ... it really just feels good to see my parents happy." Talking about his first Wrestlemania as a singles star, Fatu appreciated his brother Solo Sikoa for the support stating 'It was very nerve-wracking, but man it's just like I said bro, just preparing for it. It's more of a mindset. My brother Solo told me 'It's okay man, just to step away from everything real quick, you feel me? Get your heads in the right space'. I did that and it still don't work.'After his first monumental singles win at WrestleMania 41, Fatu is all set to defend his United States Championship against the likes of Damian priest, Drew McIntyre and former champion LA Knight in a fatal four-way match at Backlash. This would not just be his first Title defence but also a cornerstone of sorts, if the Bloodline member manages to defend his Championship at St Louis, Missouri.
