Al-Rasoul al-Adham school wins new Sana'a summer sports tournament
Sana'a - Saba: The Model Summer Schools Sports Tournament concluded on Sunday in the New Sana'a district with the final match at Umm al-Qura School Stadium. Al-Rasoul al-Adham School defeated Imam Zaid bin Ali School 4-1 to win the tournament. With this victory, al-Rasoul al-Adham School qualified for the Southern Sector qualifiers to compete for the Governorate Cup for the year 1446 AH. Director of the Province's Youth and Sports Office Abdulmohsen al-Sharif awarded gold medals to the winning team and silver medals to the runner-up. Public roads authority leadership visits summer course students in several districts of Capital
Sana'a - Saba: Eng. Abdulrahman Al-Hadhrami, Chairman of the Public Roads and Bridges Authority, visited students of summer courses in several centers in the capital on Saturday. Accompanied by the Authority's Deputy Chairman, Eng. Amir Al-Din Al-Houthi, and the Director General of Projects, Eng. Sadiq Al-Jarbani, Al-Hadhrami reviewed the summer activities and programs at Imam Al-Hadi Center in Ma'in district, Imam Zaid bin Ali School in Al-Tahrir District, and Al-Noor Center in Al-Wahda District. They listened to several student contributions and talents in Quran recitation, public speaking, and other activities, which reflected the level of benefit they gained from the summer courses. Al-Hadhrami praised the educational, cultural, and intellectual programs, as well as the sports and recreational activities aimed at equipping youth with beneficial knowledge and skills. He emphasized that summer courses provide a safe and suitable opportunity to utilize the summer break in acquiring cultural, religious, and scientific knowledge. The Chairman highlighted the leadership's keenness on the success of summer courses due to their importance in building a conscious generation rooted in Quranic culture and faith-based identity, while being shielded from misguided and foreign influences. He also reaffirmed the commitment to supporting summer courses in achieving their noble mission and lofty goals, commending the efforts of all organizers, teachers, educators in enlightening , nurturing the youth, refining their talents, and protecting them from soft warfare. Al-Madani inspects summer courses in al-Tahrir district
Sana'a - Saba: Sana'a capital first undersecretary Khaled al-Madani on Saturday inspected the summer courses in al-Tahrir district. Along with Director of Community Initiatives at the capital Rashid Mufaddal and Director of Public Mobilization in the District Abdullatif al-Wali, he reviewed the level of student attendance and interaction with the summer activities at Imam Zaid bin Ali School and the Martyr Zaid Ali Musleh School, and the extent to which they benefited from the activities and programs offered to them in memorizing and reciting the Holy Quran, as well as in scientific, cultural, cognitive, and skill-based fields. They listened to student participation, including recitations, and creative examples that reflected the students' outstanding level and the efforts made to develop their skills and knowledge and hone their various talents. During the visit, al-Madani praised the efforts of those organizing the summer courses, including the unique and purposeful activities and programs they offer that contribute to capacity building and equipping young people with awareness, knowledge, insight, and Quranic culture.
