Of course, it's a big decision, and Iheanacho even went to social media to get the opinion of some fans, reposting Fawcett's report with a caption featuring a house emoji followed by a question mark. There's no doubt that all four of these teams would love to land him, as he's listed as a five-star recruit, the No. 2 offensive tackle, the No. 1 player in Maryland and the No. 3 player in the nation, per On3 Industry Rankings. Five-star Class of 2026 recruit Immanuel Iheanacho narrowed his list to the top four schools heading into the summer on Friday. Advertisement Iheanacho is an offensive tackle for Georgetown Preparatory School in Baltimore, Maryland, and is considering the Auburn Tigers, LSU Tigers, Oregon Ducks and Penn State Nittany Lions as his options, according to On3 reporter Keegan Pope. The four schools are the only ones he has officially visited, and he plans to announce his commitment on Aug. 5. Heading into June, Iheanacho indicated that Oregon is his first option. 'Oregon is the top school, but these official visits will play a big part in my final decision,' he told On3 reporter Chad Simmons. 'My relationship with the coaches at Oregon is what has them at the top. I like the staff a lot, and we can talk about anything.' This season as a junior, he was named a MaxPreps All-American for not allowing a single sack the entire season en route to helping Georgetown Prep win its fifth Interstate Athletic Conference title in six years, per his 247 Sports player profile. Oregon Football new leader for 5-star OT Immanuel Iheanacho When it comes to recruiting 5-star offensive tackle Immanuel Iheanacho, the Oregon Ducks have been among the leaders for a long time, and they appear to be creating some separation recently. Over the weekend, 247Sports reported that Iheanacho is down to four schools at the moment, with the Ducks leading the way and the hometown Maryland Terrapins no longer in the running. This is notable, considering that Maryland was considered one of the leaders, if not the sole leader, in his recruitment until that point. On Monday, the 247Sports Recruiting Staff logged a prediction for Iheanacho to end up at Oregon. He will take his final official visit to Eugene on June 22 and announce his commitment on August 5. Standing at 6-foot-7, 350 pounds, Iheanacho is a massive product who is among the top players on Oregon's board this cycle. The 247Sports Composite rates him as the No. 4 overall player in the 2026 class and the No. 2 OT.
