Iheanacho is an offensive tackle for Georgetown Preparatory School in Baltimore, Maryland, and is considering the Auburn Tigers, LSU Tigers, Oregon Ducks and Penn State Nittany Lions as his options, according to On3 reporter Keegan Pope. The four schools are the only ones he has officially visited, and he plans to announce his commitment on Aug. 5.
Heading into June, Iheanacho indicated that Oregon is his first option.
'Oregon is the top school, but these official visits will play a big part in my final decision,' he told On3 reporter Chad Simmons. 'My relationship with the coaches at Oregon is what has them at the top. I like the staff a lot, and we can talk about anything.'
Iheanacho has already visited the Dan Lanning-led Ducks twice and left pleased both times.

'My second visit there was great,' he continued. 'I loved my first one, too. My parents also love Oregon, so it helps to get their opinion. The connection with the coaching staff is really the biggest thing for me with Oregon.'
The Ducks are well known for their strong offensive line, so adding Iheanacho would be a solid choice. He showcased his superior blocking skills as a 6-foot-6, 345-pound lineman in the Under Armor All-American Game on Jan. 2 in Deland, Florida, and the Polynesian Bowl on Jan. 16 in Honolulu.
This season as a junior, he was named a MaxPreps All-American for not allowing a single sack the entire season en route to helping Georgetown Prep win its fifth Interstate Athletic Conference title in six years, per his 247 Sports player profile.

Furthermore, as a sophomore, Iheanacho helped his team go 8-2 and primarily played left tackle but sometimes right tackle. He also received first-team all-league honors that season because of his outstanding ability to prevent opposing defenders from sacking the quarterback.

Cincinnati Bengals Accused Of Major Mistake In Signing Star Receiver
Cincinnati Bengals Accused Of Major Mistake In Signing Star Receiver originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Cincinnati Bengals have one of the best wide receiver rooms in the entire NFL, but maintaining offensive weapons like that is not cheap. Advertisement In a recent article by Yardbarker's Seth Trachtman, he outlines one offseason move made by each team that he doesn't quite understand. For the Bengals, he thinks that move is re-signing their star WR2, Tee Higgins. 'While the Bengals should be commended for keeping their offensive core together, it could be at the expense of a very leaky defense,' Trachtman wrote. 'The team extended both Higgins and Ja'Marr Chase, while their defense was handicapped by significant spending. Higgins has played only 12 games in each of the last two seasons, and it remains to be seen if the team can remain competitive after paying two wideouts.' Higgins is one of the biggest physical threat receivers in the league, and puts opposing defenses on notice whenever the Bengals are in the red zone, but he is a pretty expensive player to retain. The 26-year-old wideout signed a four-year, $115 million extension back in March with the Bengals after some problems with contract negotiations the past few seasons. But as a result, the team has a lot less money to spend on their defense. Advertisement The most notable player that Cincinnati is most likely going to lose because of their lack of capital is star edge rusher Trey Hendrickson. As the days go by, it is becoming less and less likely that he will return to the Bengals, and some of that fact may be due to the team's unwillingness to spend money on their defense. There is almost no doubt that Higgins will play well following his contract extension, but it remains to be seen whether or not the team's defense will suffer as a result. Ilhee Lee leads crowd at ShopRite LPGA as U.S. Women's Open champ Maja Stark misses cut
GALLOWAY, N.J. — Ilhee Lee shot a 3-under 68 on Saturday in the ShopRite LPGA Classic in a round delayed by rain in the afternoon to take a one-stroke lead over four players into the final round. Tied for the first-round lead with Elizabeth Szokol after a 63, Lee rebounded from a double bogey on the par-4 eighth with a closing birdie on the par-5 ninth. The 36-year-old South Korean player had an 11-under 131 total on Seaview's Bay Course. 'Today was totally different day, completely different day, and I knew it was going to be completely different day, so I didn't have any expectations,' Lee said. 'Just like I did yesterday, I was just playing golf. Have fun out there. Made some birdies on first nine. ' She won the 2013 Pure Silk-Bahamas LPGA Classic for her lone tour title. 'Now I know how fun this game is, so I'm just enjoying golf,' Lee said. Szokol had a 69 to drop into a tie for second in the 54-hole event with fellow American Jennifer Kupcho (64) and Japanese players Mao Saigo (65) and Ayaka Furue (66). 'Just trying to stay patient all day,' Szokol said. 'Didn't quite have things go as great as yesterday but still playing really good golf.' Kupcho birdied the final two holes in her late afternoon round. 'I think a little bit of improvement to be made tomorrow,' Kupcho said. 'Wasn't hitting the ball super great off the tee, but at least out here it's manageable out of the rough or fairway bunkers. Was just really giving myself opportunities.' Second-ranked Jeeno Thitikul shot her second 68 to get to 6 under, while No. 1 Nelly Korda was 5 under after a 66. 'Very happy with how I played today, the past two days,' Korda said. 'It's a tricky golf courses. Keeps you on your toes all the time.' Maja Stark, the U.S. Women's Open winner last week at Erin Hills, missed the cut with rounds of 70 and 75. Defending champion Linnea Strom also dropped out, shooting 72-75.

Angels Announce Mike Trout News After Latest Setback
Angels Announce Mike Trout News After Latest Setback originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Baseball is better when Los Angeles Angels star Mike Trout is healthy, mashing home runs, and manning the outfield. Advertisement We're getting closer to seeing Trout achieve all three once again. Trout, who moved from center to right field in spring training, did outfield drills before Friday's 5-4 victory over the rival Seattle Mariners. Trout hasn't played the outfield since suffering a knee injury on April 30. He missed nearly a month with a left knee bone bruise. 'He said he felt good,' Washington told reporters. 'It was just minimal motion. That's all. Just minimal motion. Nothing that really challenged him. But it's a start.' Los Angeles Angels right fielder Mike TroutTroy Taormina-Imagn Images Unfortunately for opposing pitchers, a healthy Trout seemingly found the Fountain of Youth during his IL stint. Trout is 10-of-25 in his last seven games with a home run and five RBI. Advertisement However, Trout is still only hitting .221 and is on pace for his lowest OPS since his 40-game cameo in 2011. He's at least matched last year's 10 home runs. As for the Angels, they're quietly lurking in the AL playoff hunt. Trout and teammates entered Saturday at 29-33, 5 1/2 games behind the first-place Houston Astros in the AL West. The Angels trail the Toronto Blue Jays for the American League's third and final Wild Card spot.
