5-Star Recruit Immanuel Iheanacho Names His Top 4 Schools

5-Star Recruit Immanuel Iheanacho Names His Top 4 Schools originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Five-star Class of 2026 recruit Immanuel Iheanacho narrowed his list to the top four schools heading into the summer on Friday. Advertisement Iheanacho is an offensive tackle for Georgetown Preparatory School in Baltimore, Maryland, and is considering the Auburn Tigers, LSU Tigers, Oregon Ducks and Penn State Nittany Lions as his options, according to On3 reporter Keegan Pope. The four schools are the only ones he has officially visited, and he plans to announce his commitment on Aug. 5. Heading into June, Iheanacho indicated that Oregon is his first option. 'Oregon is the top school, but these official visits will play a big part in my final decision,' he told On3 reporter Chad Simmons. 'My relationship with the coaches at Oregon is what has them at the top. I like the staff a lot, and we can talk about anything.' Iheanacho has already visited the Dan Lanning-led Ducks twice and left pleased both times. Advertisement 'My second visit there was great,' he continued. 'I loved my first one, too. My parents also love Oregon, so it helps to get their opinion. The connection with the coaching staff is really the biggest thing for me with Oregon.' The Ducks are well known for their strong offensive line, so adding Iheanacho would be a solid choice. He showcased his superior blocking skills as a 6-foot-6, 345-pound lineman in the Under Armor All-American Game on Jan. 2 in Deland, Florida, and the Polynesian Bowl on Jan. 16 in Honolulu. This season as a junior, he was named a MaxPreps All-American for not allowing a single sack the entire season en route to helping Georgetown Prep win its fifth Interstate Athletic Conference title in six years, per his 247 Sports player profile. He also received first-team all-league honors that season because of his outstanding ability to prevent opposing defenders from sacking the quarterback. Everything Jonah Savaiinaea said after Miami Dolphins picked him in NFL draft

MIAMI GARDENS ― The Miami Dolphins traded up in the second round of the NFL Draft to select guard Jonah Savaiinaea of Arizona. Savaiinaea is 6-foot-4, 324 pounds, and should immediately start at left guard for the Dolphins. Advertisement Here are some things Savaiinaea said when meeting with reporters: I did not expect the Dolphins to trade up. But one of my agents said don't expect to wait too long. Jonah Savaiinaea and Tua Tagovailoa: Same high school I went to the same high school as Tua Tagovailoa. Brotherhood. I have met Tua at the Polynesian Bowl. I am excited to block for Tua in the future. I've only blocked for Polynesian quarterbacks in my career. God wants me to block for my people. I am firm and light on my feet. I can recover if I over-set in pass pro. Dolphins offensive line coach Butch Barry and I sat down and spoke about how they sell outside zone even if they don't do it. I like to get off the ball. INSTANT GRADE: Why Jonah Savaiinaea pick in second round gets a C-plus I feel comfortable inside and I like to get my hands on people. I want to tighten up my stance and give myself some space. Jonah Savaiinaea: I hope people will say Miami made the right pick Years from now, I hope people will say that Miami made the right pick in trading up for me. God-willing we're going to go to a Super Bowl. I have a childhood friend who plays for the 'Canes. I did have a formal interview with Mike McDaniel at the combine and he is a funny dude. He's super-funny and not afraid to be himself. He was chill. He said, 'If I punched you right now, would you punch me back?' Brandon Scherff, Quenton Nelson and David DeCastro are three guys I have watched film on. Joe Schad is a journalist covering the Miami Dolphins and the NFL at The Palm Beach Post.
