George Stephanopoulos and Ali Wentworth Suffer Devastating Loss After Daughter's College Graduation
Good Morning America host George Stephanopoulos' wife, Ali Wentworth, opened up about a devastating loss that her family suffered after celebrating their daughter's college graduation. 'I lost my longtime companion. The greatest dog and integral part of our family,' Ali, 60, captioned a montage of photos shared on Instagram on Wednesday, May 28. 'He once swam after a giant Elk in a pond. Ate a whole bottle of melatonin and felt nothing. Always devoured all the candy in our Christmas stockings. Slept at the foot of our bed and dreamt running in place. He loved every species. Especially humans. Kissed and cuddled everyone that came through our door. Cooper was unconditionally adored by all.' 'I will miss him with all my heart. See you on the other side, Coop! We still have many squirrels to chase….' the post concluded. Several of her celebrity friends left supportive comments and condolences underneath the post. 'Cooper helped me rescue that gull on the beach during one of our many beach walks... The bestest boy!!!!' Beth Ostrosky Stern commented on the post. 'A special kind of heartbreak,' Jennifer Garner wrote with a red heartbroken emoji. 'Aww. I loved him. So sorry honey!' Sean Hayes said. 'Oh no Ali. I'm so sorry,' Julianne Moore said. 'Sending you all love! They are truly the most heart expanding gift we are blessed to share our life with!' Demi Moore said. In a second Instagram post, Ali shared another montage of photos of Cooper spending time with the family before his death. The comedian shares kids Elliott, 21, and Harper, 19, with George, 64. The posts about the beloved family pet came just days after Ali and George celebrated Elliott's college graduation in a series of posts on Instagram. 'She did it! Happy graduation to an incredible human being who has her father's brain and my legs. And if it was the other way around- she'd be screwed. Proud parents! All our children deserve an education!' Ali wrote on Instagram on Sunday, May 25, featuring photos of her daughter on her big day. George also shared some photos with his college graduate over on his Instagram page, writing, 'We have a college graduate!!! Congratulations to Elliott, and to the entire class of 2025. We love you and are so proud of you, E!' During an episode of GMA on Monday, May 26, George opened up about his daughter's big accomplishment. "Elliott had a great weekend. She graduated from Brown on Sunday," the dad of two said during the show. "She was all smiles all weekend long and we are so proud of her." Back in August 2023, Ali reflected on dropping Harper off at college and becoming empty nesters. "We dropped our baby off at college. Everyone is saying 'she's ready to launch'! But… I don't think I'm ready!' the In Living Color alum wrote on Instagram along with a photo of her and her husband holding hands. 'I don't want to stop making pasta with vodka sauce, picking up wet towels, cuddling up to her familiar scent. As Joni Mitchell once wrote- 'the bed's too big, the frying pan too wide'. I know our daughter will thrive. But man, it's brutal on the parents. If you feel inclined- please send me baked goods. I'll be under my covers.'

Jennifer Lopez net worth: Here's how much the AMAs host is worth
Los Angeles, May 25 (IANS) Singer-actress Jennifer Lopez is looking back at her illustrious career, and feels extremely "proud" of the same. Let's talk about Jennifer Lopez for a sec, because seriously, is there anything she hasn't done? JLo's been a total force in the entertainment world for decades now. Singer, dancer, actress, fashion icon, business mogul, you name it, she's crushed it. And if you've ever wondered how much all that hustle has added up to, spoiler alert: it's a lot. So, what's Jennifer Lopez actually worth? Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, Jennifer was all about performing from the start. She kicked things off as a dancer (remember In Living Color?), then quickly moved into acting. Her big break? The lead role in Selena, and let's be honest, she killed it. That movie didn't just make her a star, it also opened a ton of doors in Hollywood. Since then, she's headlined everything from rom-coms like The Wedding Planner to more intense roles like in Enough. Every role added a nice chunk of change to her growing bank account. But acting is only one part of her empire. Let's not forget JLo the pop star. Her music career totally blew up in the late '90s and early 2000s. Songs like If You Had My Love, Love Don't Cost a Thing, and Waiting for Tonight were massive hits, and those tracks (plus the albums, tours, and streaming royalties) brought in serious money. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like American Investor Warren Buffett Recommends: 5 Books For Turning Your Life Around Blinkist: Warren Buffett's Reading List Undo And let's be real, her live performances are iconic. She dances, she sings, she lights up the stage. That kind of energy sells out arenas and racks up millions. JLo is also a super smart businesswoman She didn't just stop at music and movies. Nope. She launched a fragrance line, remember Glow by JLo? It basically started the whole celebrity perfume trend. That line alone has made over $2 billion since 2012. Wild, right? And then there's JLo Beauty, her skincare brand, which pulled in over $75 million in sales just in 2022. She knows what sells, and more importantly, she knows how to sell herself as a brand. Jennifer owns some seriously stunning homes, like a $61 million Beverly Hills mansion, an $8.6 million estate in the Hamptons, and other luxe properties in Miami, LA, and NYC. Her total real estate portfolio is worth around $97 million. And of course, she's got a killer car collection too, think Rolls-Royces and more, worth another $1.5 million or so. Put all that together—movies, music, businesses, properties, and endorsements—and JLo's estimated net worth lands around $400 million. What's even more impressive is how she keeps it all going. Jennifer never stops. She's constantly reinventing herself, trying new things, and staying so relevant in an industry that moves fast. Whether she's headlining the Super Bowl, hosting the AMAs, or dropping a new skincare product, she shows up and delivers every single time. And that's kind of the secret to her success. Sure, she's insanely talented, but she's also smart, driven, and not afraid to take risks. She's built an empire by being true to herself and never settling for less.

After All the Trouble He's Caused, Where Has Elon Musk Been Hiding?
Has anyone seen Elon Musk these days? What's he been up to? Because Musk (really, his money) was part of the reason Donald Trump won the presidency. In the run up to the election, the South African billionaire donated close to $300 million to the Republican presidential campaign. For this, it seems like Trump gave Musk carte blanche to recreate the U.S. Government in his (extremely scary) image. But now...? We aren't hearing much about Musk as we head into the summer. So, let's look into it. When President Trump took office, one of the first things he did was create the Department of Governmental Efficiency (DOGE) and placed Musk in charge of it. With this newfound power, Musk went on a rampage. He terminated over 100,000 government employees by either forcing them to take buyouts or outright firing them. He is responsible for ending contracts for programs related to climate change, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, environmental protection, international aid, and science research. Musk was so active and visible in the President's first few months in office, that it inspired TIME to put him behind the Resolute Desk on the cover of one of its magazines. Just a few months ago, it seemed like Musk was everywhere. He gave a huge speech when Trump was inaugurated. (And did what still feels like a Nazi salute.) He had his kid playing in the Oval Office while talking to the media. He gave interview after interview to the media. But now he is nowhere to be seen. It seems like my man just dropped off the face of the Earth. No one seems to know what happened to him. But it is clear what's going on. In Wisconsin, Justice Ann Walsh Bradley, a long-time judge on the state's Supreme Court, retired opening the door for an election. Susan Crawford, a liberal, faced off against Brad Schimel, a conservative. This would have not been a notable race, but Musk took an interest in the race because he wanted to turn this liberal leaning court into a conservative one. So he sunk millions into the campaign for the conservative thinking he could influence the outcome of the election. He did not. Well, on second thought, he did. Just not the way Musk wanted. Voters found Musk's attempt to buy the election distasteful. Those who opposed him mounted a campaign entitled 'People Vs. Musk' and defeated the candidate he supported by 10 percentage points. If you think Kamala Harris got mollywhopped by Trump, then this would be the political equivalent of what Homey the Clown used to do on In Living Color. After that, Musk got quiet. He was not talking to the media anymore. He was not trying to influence elections like he once was. Now, seven weeks after that embarrassing defeat, he has announced that he will step away from political spending. Saying, 'I've done enough.' Good riddance. Dude can kick rocks. One less white nationalist leaning billionaire to worry about. For the latest news, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Judge suspended for making ‘G-rated dad jokes' about defendants. He claims he was ‘trying to lighten the tension'
A judge in Florida was suspended for telling "inappropriate, undignified, or discourteous" jokes to help "lighten the tension" in the courtroom. The Florida Judicial Qualifications Commission has indefinitely suspended Broward Circuit Judge Gary Farmer Jr for making jokes during his hearings, according to Law & Crime. Many of the comments reportedly occurred during felony criminal hearings last August. During one case, a defendant had reportedly impregnated three women all within nine months of each other. 'OK, you've been busy,' Farmer said during the session. 'You were just shooting all over the place! That's good, do you know their names? First and last? Romantic are you? Don't tell Susie about Jane, don't tell Jane about Mary. God bless you, man. One's enough.' Later he joked about ordering the man to wear a condom. 'I'm going to order that you wear a condom at all times. For your own good. OK? Probation is going to check. No, I'm kidding. I'm kidding," Farmer said. When the defendant's appointed defender turned out to be a woman, the judge told the man "don't get her pregnant." During another case, a defendant was named Georgia, and Farmer began singing a song about "sweet Georgia" and making jokes about peaches. 'You're supposed to say 'peachy.' How you doin', Georgia? Peachy!' Farmer said. Though it's unclear why, Farmer also reportedly "quoted extensively" from a sketch performed by Marlon Wayans on "In Living Color," according to the commission. Farmer knew his jokes weren't landing, admitting at one point during a trial that he was telling 'exceptionally, exceptionally bad jokes.' But he appears to have persisted. During a bond hearing, a defense attorney representing a suspect facing first-degree kidnapping charges joked with the judge about the nature of the kidnapping. 'I gotta tell you judge, in the history of kidnappings, this would be the first time someone gets kidnapped and taken to a strip club," the defense attorney said. Farmer replied: 'I was about to say, I think there's a long list of husbands who have claimed exactly that in the past. We've all been taken against our will.' The judge responded to the allegations that his jokes were "inappropriate" and "undignified" by insisting they were meant to be helpful, not harmful. 'These jokes were said to lighten tension, reduce stress for criminal defendants, and show a sense of humanity,' Farmer said. 'They generally are G-rated 'Dad jokes' that are corny but not offensive, and were not degrading to the solemnity of the proceedings.' Farmer previously served in the Florida State Legislature as a Democrat. It's unclear when or if he'll return to the bench.
