Kim Zolciak's daughter Ariana Biermann sentenced over 2022 DUI — days before Bravo show premiere

Kim Zolciak's daughter Ariana Biermann is the latest Bravo star to be sentenced for driving under the influence. In a hearing last Friday, the 23-year-old reality star took a plea deal to avoid jail time for her 2022 arrest, according to court docs obtained by In Touch. The outlet reports that she pleaded guilty to reckless driving and possession and use of drug-related objects. However, other charges, including a DUI, were dropped by prosecutors. Biermann will serve 24 months of probation, pay over $2,000 in fines and perform 40 hours of community service. Additionally, she also has to eliminate alcoholic beverages or drugs unless prescribed and complete an evaluation for substance abuse and take a Victim Impact program. The court warned Biermann that she could end up in jail if she violated any of her probation orders. 'Ms. Biermann maintained her innocence since her arrest. We are pleased that the State of Georgia eventually decided to dismiss the impaired driving charge and offer Ms. Biermann the opportunity to plead guilty to a traffic ticket,' her lawyer, Justin Spizman, told Page Six in a statement Thursday. 'Despite her desire to fight this case, she took advantage of the opportunity to put this matter behind her and focus her energy on all the positive endeavors in her life.' Page Six has also reached out to Biermann's rep for comment. In August 2022, Biermann, who was 20 at the time, was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper/erratic lane change and underage possession/purchase of alcohol. Her then-boyfriend, Hudson McLeroy, who was also 20 at the time, was arrested for an alleged DUI, along with allegedly furnishing alcohol to a minor and violating the conditions of his limited driving permit. Biermann denied the charges at the time and her lawyer said that she was 'involved in a minor fender bender. However, the police 'immediately initiated an investigation for DUI.' Biermann's sentencing comes days before her new show, 'Next Gen NYC,' is set to premiere on Bravo. The reality show follows a group of friends who were raised in the spotlight as they work their way through adulthood. 'Next Gen NYC' premieres June 3 at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT on Bravo.

In Touch, Life & Style, Closer and First for Women Shutter as All Staff Are Laid Off

A number of women's lifestyle and entertainment magazine publications from McClatchy Media Company are shuttering and laying off their entire staffs. In Touch, Life & Style, Closer and First for Women are ceasing operation by the end of June, the parent company informed staffers Friday. It's unclear just how many employees across all four brands were impacted by McClatchy's gutting of the entertainment brands. Other outlets owned by the media company include newspapers The Kansas City Star, Miami Herald, The Sacramento Bee, Fort Worth Star-Telegram and The Charlotte Observer. They also own Us Weekly, which was acquired as part of the accelerate360 merger that In Touch, Life & Style, Closer and First for Women were also a part of. 'Despite the best efforts of many of our talented colleagues, we have been unable to develop a profitable business model for four of our magazine titles. First for Women, In Touch, Life & Style and Closer will publish their final editions between June 20 and 27,' McClatchy spokesperson Julie Pendley said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, which first broke the news Friday. 'We are grateful for the meaningful contributions of the affected employees and are providing support during the transition.' McClatchy did not respond to TheWrap's request for further comment. The announcement is just the latest in a continuingly tumultuous time for news media. In the same week, Business Insider informed it's staff that they would experience a 21% workforce reduction as they look to pivot more to AI uses in the newsroom. 'We are reducing the size of our organization, a move that will impact about 21% of our colleagues and touch every department,' Business Insider CEO Barbara Peng wrote. 'We're also proposing changes that impact our U.K. team, but the process is a bit different there; separate communication will follow.' Going forward, Business Insider will be launching events coverage, 'fully embracing AI' and reducing their reliance on 'traffic-sensitive businesses.' In Touch, Life & Style, Closer and First for Women Magazines to Shutter, Lay Off Entire Staffs

Four publications have reached the end of the road: In Touch, Life & Style, Closer and First for Women. McClatchy Media Company, which owns and operates the magazines, informed staff on Friday that all four will be sunsetting in the coming weeks when final issues are published by the end of June, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. First for Women, In Touch, Life & Style and Closer will publish their final editions between June 20 and 27,' McClatchy spokesperson Julie Pendley said in a statement to THR. 'We are grateful for the meaningful contributions of the affected employees and are providing support during the transition.' It's unclear how many employees are impacted by the layoffs. THR has reached out for additional comment on the number of staffers affected. The news marks yet another blow to the media and magazine business, which has suffered widespread layoffs and cutbacks in recent years due to declining readership, algorithmic changes, a rise in AI and leaning toward social platforms like TikTok. Just this week, Business Insider confirmed it was cutting its staff by 21 percent in layoffs that would impact every department. The McClatchy shutterings also mark the end of an era for the celebrity tabloid business with the loss of three high-profile titles in the space. Though McClatchy is best known as a newspaper publisher with such newsroom operations as The Kansas City Star, Miami Herald, The Sacramento Bee, Fort Worth Star-Telegram, The Charlotte Observer and more, it expanded its reach into lifestyle and entertainment categories when it merged with accelerate360, a distribution, logistics and media company. It acquired Us Weekly in the merger, and according to a source, that title was 'always the star' above In Touch, Life & Style and Closer, the latter of which covered the older generation of stars while the former two are much more traditional glossy celebrity tabloids. 'It's very expensive to do print these days,' added a source of the closures. 'The numbers are continuously down though there still is value in these brand names so it's still possible that someone could purchase them and keep them alive.' Despite the pullback in print, the magazines boasted online readership and considerable social media followings. On Instagram alone, both Life & Style and In Touch counted north of half a million followers in addition to robust websites. According to an editor letter published by editor-in-chief Liz Vaccariello, First for Women was founded in 1989 and publishes every two weeks. The current focus was on delivering 'guidance and encouragement on everything from beauty and fashion to health, psychology, diet and nutrition. Plus, all things food, family and home,' per Vaccariello. While Hollywood's talent publicists may not be shedding tears today, those who made a living in the celebrity weekly space at one of the publications are having a tough time. 'Just another black Friday in the tabloid business,' said a source with a sigh. Nicola Peltz Still Battling With Ex Dog Groomer Amid Unending Family Drama

Nicola Peltz is unrelenting in her search for justice for her dog! The actress's ongoing court case with her dog groomer over her pet's death takes another dimension as she is now being asked to come in for a deposition. Nicola's need to appear comes amid family drama with her husband's people allegedly labeling him a hostage in their marriage. Nicola Peltz dragged dog grooming company Houndspa owner Deborah Gittleman and the groomer John Ceballos to court last year for wrongfully manhandling her dog, Nala, leading to her passing. The actress must now answer important questions under oath before a New York judge in the ongoing case. She must reportedly appear for the deposition before October 30, as her dead dog's groomer insisted he did nothing wrong. Nicola will also have to release the necropsy report for the late Nala, detailing the cause of her death and other important information related to it. The newest member of the Beckham family has a long and rich history with the dog, which she rescued and has had with her for about nine years. The actress claimed that she had unknowingly invited the groomer to fix her dog, despite her family having cut ties with him professionally. That visit marked the beginning of the end as Nala, who went in healthy for grooming, returned heavily and wheezing, with her chest pulsating." Despite rushing her for medical aid, Nala tragically died less than two hours after she visited John. As noted by In Touch, the actress demanded unspecified damages from the company to donate them to a dog rescue organization. As shared by The Blast, Nicola informed the world of her loss when she shared a heartfelt tribute on Instagram, reflecting on the profound bond she had with her beloved dog. In her post, dated June 16, 2024, she described the unbearable pain of losing Nala just hours after a grooming appointment. Nicola expressed her heartbreak and revealed that she chose to share her story with the hope of preventing similar tragedies for other pet owners. She emphasized the importance of being cautious about where owners take their dogs, as the behind-the-scenes realities can be alarming. The actress described Nala as her "beautiful queen," who was her loyal companion for nine years and conveyed a deep wish to hold her again. In a touching closing, she prayed for Nala to be with her loved ones in spirit. Nearly a year after she marked her first wedding anniversary with Brooklyn, the couple is now battling rumors of a troubled marriage worsened by their estrangement from David and Victoria Beckham. As reported by The Blast, sources claim that the Beckhams view Brooklyn as a "hostage" in her marriage to the billionaire heiress. They reportedly believe he is being "controlled" and engaging in activities he has previously despised. Speaking of his least favorite activities, Brooklyn is known to hold a private aversion to being filmed and typically only participates in videos out of necessity. However, he posted an Instagram video featuring him riding a motorbike with Nicola. This public display, along with the accompanying caption in which he describes the actress as his world, indicates his support for her in the ongoing feud with his family. His parents, David and Victoria, reportedly feel "betrayed" after the couple chose to skip the football legend's 50th birthday celebration, adding a troubling dimension to their already strained relationship. The senior Beckhams are not the only ones feeling the heat of the family feud. The ongoing situation has reportedly also caused friction between Brooklyn and his siblings. Recently, Brooklyn visited the UK for a photo shoot with Moncler but did not inform his parents or make time for his brothers and sister. Tensions appear to have escalated between Brooklyn and his younger brother Romeo, particularly during Brooklyn's wedding to Nicola, when Nicola allegedly refused to interact with Mia Regan, Romeo's girlfriend. Brooklyn's relationships with his youngest brother, Cruz, and sister, Harper, have also seemingly deteriorated. An insider noted that Brooklyn and Cruz, who typically have a positive relationship, have not seen each other in a long time. Brooklyn and Nicola did not visit Harper during their trip, which has been described as heartbreaking. The insider mentioned that Nicola used to be very close to Harper. She reportedly frequently shared photos and videos of her on social media, leading to concerns that she may have used their relationship to enhance her public image. The decision to exclude Harper, who is uninvolved in the family drama, is considered cruel by some, raising questions about Brooklyn's motivations. The 30-year-old's marital upheavals have now drawn her to form a new friendship with someone in a similar situation, Meghan. The two were able to share their burdens and sympathize with each other when Prince Harry and Meghan invited Nicola and Brooklyn for dinner at their home. As shared by The Blast, while the timing may have coincided with the Beckhams' feud, they had reportedly made plans to hang out months before. Meghan reportedly empathized with Nicola, as both women have grappled with similar challenges stemming from strained family dynamics in the public eye. A source revealed that during a recent dinner, Meghan and the actress engaged in a heartfelt conversation, finding common ground in their experiences of being portrayed in the media as villains for disrupting their husbands' lives. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also have their fair share of estrangement from Victoria and David. Meghan has reportedly suggested to Harry in the past that Victoria may have leaked some sensitive information about them to the press. However, insiders close to Harry and Meghan have downplayed reports of their close friendship. The source noted that the royals did not personally invite the couple to dinner. Instead, they were reportedly introduced to the gathering through a mutual acquaintance, which was not a private event but part of a larger gathering with various high-profile guests from entertainment and media. Nicola Peltz surely has her cup full, wishing her all the peace!

Duck Dynasty's Phil Robertson's Family Stayed by His Side in His Final Days: Meet His Wife and Sons

Duck Dynasty alum Phil Robertson had the support of his loving family — which consists of his wife, Kay Robertson, and their four sons — in his final days while battling a spate of severe health issues, including Alzheimer's and a blood disease. In Touch shares everything you need to know about his caring brood. Phil married Kay in 1966. The pair welcomed four sons, Alan 'Al' Robertson, Jase Robertson, Willie Robertson and Jep Robertson, during their decades-long marriage. Their clan was featured on the A&E television series Duck Dynasty, which aired from 2012 to 2017, and followed their lives as they operated Duck Commander, a family business that manufactured duck calls and other hunting-related products. Duck Dynasty: The Revival, which premieres on June 1, 2025, does not include any appearances from Phil but does follow in the footsteps of his family. Prior to his passing, Phil shocked fans by revealing during a 2020 interview that he had an adult daughter from a previous affair in the '70s. Phil's son Alan explained he and his brother Jase received a letter from a 45-year-old woman named Phyliss, who claimed to be their sister. 'So basically, it was from a woman who said that by a DNA search, she thinks that dad might be her dad,' the reality star explained on the 'Unashamed' podcast, adding that he initially 'dismissed' the letter because the woman's birthday was after the time Phil had become a dedicated Christian. However, after learning she had no financial motivations and that she's also a Christian, Alan was more inclined to tell his parents of his possible sibling. 'Once we get into that and start looking at it a little more deeply, I'm like, 'Oh woah, woah … there might be something to this,'' Al said. The results of the DNA test revealed a 99.99 percent match between Phil and the woman. 'It's a pretty cool explanation of redemption, reconciliation, love,' Phil told listeners. 'As it turns out, you have a daughter that you don't know about and she has a father she doesn't know about, 45 years doesn't sound like very long, but you see, that's a while.' Jase and Al announced in December 2024 that their father was 'not doing well' and had been diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's disease during an episode of their 'Unashamed' podcast. Jase explained his dad still wanted to participate in the podcast – which the duo launched in 2018 – but that his memory was starting to decline. 'I was like, 'You know, your memory is not what it once was.' He's like, 'Tell me about it.' So, he is literally unable to — I think he would agree — to just sit down and have a conversation,' he told listeners about his father. In addition, Jase explained that doctors told his father he had "some sort of blood disease' and it was 'causing all kinds of problems.' Al said his dad had been suffering from the unnamed illness for 'years,' but noted it had recently 'gotten a lot worse.' Weeks later, Willie gave an update on his father's condition to Fox News, telling the outlet Phil was 'battling many different things at the same time.' 'He's got a blood disorder, and then he's got the mental issues that could be early [onset] Alzheimer's … and probably some ministrokes because of his blood,' Willie explained on December 17, 2024. 'And so, it could be some stroke stuff happening, that has happened. So, we're still checking on all that. But then he also has a back issue, he's fractured his back and that's where the pain's at. So, he's kind of battling many different things at the same time.' In addition to the blood disease and back problems, Willie revealed Phil had an 'enlarged spleen, which could be pushing on the stomach,' resulting in a loss of appetite. The family announced Phil's death at 79 years old on May 25, 2025, thanking supporters for their 'love and prayers' throughout his journey. 'We are saddened to hear of the passing of Phil Robertson, a hunting industry pioneer and the patriarch of the beloved Robertson family,' read a statement from the show producers. 'Our thoughts are with them during this difficult time. We extend our deepest condolences and respect their privacy as they grieve.' The Duck Dynasty alum's family rallied by him and ensured the patriarch was not alone as his health rapidly declined. 'They want to give him the best life they possibly can under the circumstances and check in on him often and take him out for drives in the woods to reminisce about the good old days and make sure he's getting the best care,' the insider exclusively told In Touch about his loved ones on January 20, 2025. The show was greenlit by A&E in 2025 after nearly a decade off the air, and this time, viewers are getting an update on Korie and Willie, their adult children and their grandchildren. 'With their dynasty expanding into more than just ducks, Willie and Korie will bring their signature humor and family fun as they grapple with mapping out the future of Duck Commander, watching the kids navigate marriage, children and businesses of their own, and passing down the family legacy,' the show description teased ahead of the June 1 premiere.
