ILA to host ‘India 78: Unplugged' quiz
The Indian Ladies Association (ILA), Bahrain, will host India 78: Unplugged, a special quiz event marking the 78th anniversary of India's independence, on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Epix Cinema, Dana Mall, from 4:30pm to 7:00pm.
The competition, open to school teams, corporate houses, and community groups, aims to celebrate India's vibrant culture, rich history, and enduring legacy.
Participants will face intellectually stimulating rounds covering topics from history and politics to art, science, and culture, offering both an educational and entertaining experience.
Journey
According to ILA President Mrs. Smitha Jensen, the event is 'more than a quiz — it's a journey through India's glorious past and dynamic present.'
She added that the response has been overwhelming, with registrations from leading corporate teams and community groups across Bahrain.
Winners will receive attractive prizes, and all participants will gain a deeper appreciation of India's contributions across various fields. Limited registration slots remain available.
