Murugappa Group unveils e-three wheeler with 170 km range
Montra Electric, the clean mobility brand of the Murugappa Group, unveiled its electric three-wheeler SUPER CARGO in Bengaluru on Wednesday. The vehicle, priced at ₹4.37 lakh (ex-showroom Bengaluru, post subsidy) is set to revolutionise the last-mile 3W cargo category by addressing the current market gaps and empowering customers to earn more with uncompromised range and power, the company said. Roy Kurian, Business Head – Last Mile Mobility, Montra Electric said, 'Montra Electric SUPER CARGO is engineered with deep customer insights. It is packaged with unique features, and the 15-minute full charging option is a great benefit for B2B players. The Super Cargo is well-suited for a variety of applications for both fleet operators and individual entrepreneurs. Our expanding dealer network assures uptime across the nation.' According to the company, SUPER CARGO features a 13.8 kWh lithium-ion battery with a road range of 170 km. Its powerful drivetrain produces 70 Nm torque and 11 kW peak power with 23% gradeability. With a 1.2-tonne gross vehicle weight, the vehicle is engineered to carry all types of loads with ease. The three wheeler is available in three configurations: 170 cu. ft, 140 cu. ft, and tray deck. The SUPER CARGO will also be available with a 15-minute 100% charging option, powered by Exponent Energy. SUPER CARGO has the longest wheelbase in its category, providing a spacious driver cabin and a 6.2-feet load tray ideal for large delivery applications. Bookings are open across exclusive showrooms in over 90 cities. The vehicle is available in three cargo body variants: Tray eCX, 140 cubic feet eCX d, and 170 cubic feet eCX d+. Super Cargo is available in four attractive colours: Chilli Red, Steel Grey, Indian Blue, and Stallion Brown.

Montra Electric launches Super Cargo electric three-wheeler in Bengaluru
Montra Electric , the clean mobility brand of the Murugappa Group, has introduced its new electric three-wheeler-- Super Cargo-- aimed at the last-mile cargo delivery segment. The vehicle was launched in Bengaluru by Jalaj Gupta, Managing Director of TI Clean Mobility Private Limited, along with other senior company officials. The Super Cargo is offered with a 13.8 kWh lithium-ion battery that delivers a certified range of over 200 km and an on-road range of 170 km. It produces 11 kW of peak power and 70 Nm of torque and features a 1.2-tonne gross vehicle weight, 23% gradeability, and a boron steel chassis. The vehicle is available in three cargo configurations: 170 cubic feet, 140 cubic feet, and tray deck. Charging, configurations, and availability The Super Cargo will also be offered with a 15-minute full charging option in partnership with Exponent Energy. This feature is available on two variants—Tray eQX and 170 eQX d+. The model is now open for bookings across 90 cities and comes in four colours: Chilli Red, Steel Grey, Indian Blue, and Stallion Brown. Prices begin at ₹4.37 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru, post-subsidy), and it includes a 5-year or 1.75 lakh km battery warranty. Safety features on the Super Cargo include disc brakes, hill hold, reverse assist, seatbelt provision, regenerative braking, and multiple drive modes. The vehicle also features a long wheelbase and a 6.2-foot load tray.
