She praised Rupali Ganguly and the producer of Anupamaa, Rajan Shahi, for being the best shows of current times. Kapoor bashed these comparisons and mentioned how it is unnecessary. Ektaa Kapoor said, "Yesterday, I was seeing some videos about Anupamaa having a problem with Kyunki's coming. I felt that was such bad taste. She (Rupali Ganguly) is such a big star. Anupamaa, the show, Rajan, the creator, have done what nobody else could do in the last 7 years. They continue to be number 1, and they should continue to be number 1. We are coming with our purpose to tell our story." The producer of Smriti Irani led show added, "These unfair comparisons between lead characters and lead shows are so unnecessary. I think pitying women against each other, pitying content against each other, is so uncalled for." Anupamaa has been one of the most successful shows on Indian Television for the past few years. The Rupali Ganguly starrer premiered in 2020 and has been ruling TRPs charts since then. Speaking about Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi's return, the show is set to feature the original cast members like Smriti Irani, Amar Upadhyay, Shakti Anand, Hiten Tejwani, Gauri Pradhan, Ritu Chaudhary, Kamalika Guha Thakurta, Ketki Dave, and a few more will be seen reprising their original characters. Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is set to premiere from June 29 onwards at 10:30 PM.

Taking to Instagram stories, the actress penned a heartfelt note, informing fans about her exit from the show. 'This is to confirm my exit from Yrkkh. Overwhelmed with all the love and acceptance you gave to Roohi—a fictional character that felt so real," she started adding, 'For 1.5 years, I gave my heart and soul trying to deliver the most honest performance possible… This was the most wholesome learning curve; I have grown as an actor and as a person, and I will forever be grateful for this magical journey." Garvita played Roohi, the parallel lead at the show. As the show took a 7-year leap, the audiences were eagerly waiting for Roohi and her son Daksh to appear on screen, but unfortunately, she is departing from the show. Reflecting on her journey, Garvita wrote, 'For me, Roohi was an emotion, as human and as grey as it gets, but at the core of it, she was just a child full of life, ALL HEART. I had my ups and downs with this character, but I always saw her as a dark tunnel, but also the light at the end of the tunnel. Poetic, right? But when Diya ji and Tony ji called… I didn't even know anything about PR at all, neither did I do some photoshoot or anything. My idea was only that I don't want to go back and want to stay close to my sister.' She further added, 'So my daughter Anushka started her schooling and everything slowly started settling in. Soon we decided that we will set up a production house, and I'll produce content for television as it was still an upcoming industry back then. It was obviously big but there was still space in regional, so we wanted to do something there. So when I got Ek Mutthi Aasmaan, I don't know how I got it. I was only told this is a good production house and I had already seen Banegi Apni Baat, so I knew these were good producers and I loved what they narrated to me. Zee was also happy to take me onboard, and I got it like that. I didn't go looking for it.' Shilpa Shirodhkar's husband left his job to be with her Shilpa also opened up about the difficult time following the loss of her parents, which led to a deep depression. 'It happened after my parents passed. It was very tough. I was in London, alone, with my husband and my Anushka. And Aparesh was very, very, very successful. He was doing so well in his space of work. Anushka was settled in her school. She had her own friends. Everything, everything was in place. But when my parents passed so immediately, one after the other… I don't know, I just couldn't handle it. And I was getting treated there, but I just wanted to come back. You know, there's a saying that behind every successful man, there's a woman. I think, and I say this from my own experience, behind every successful woman is a very, very understanding husband. And a very, very tolerant man. And I wouldn't have been doing this today, I wouldn't be sitting in front of you, if my husband hadn't been there.'
