Young minds and curious children got to check out new technology and explore the secrets of WA's key minerals at the Resources Technology Showcase family fun day.
Families descended on the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre for an action-packed afternoon that involved celebrating resources, science and tech at one of Australia's largest free STEM exhibitions.
Kids had the chance to check out immersive tunnels, minerals, sit in cranes, go head-to-head in a high energy showdown and interact with Hancock Iron Ore's Mini Mine for a virtual reality experience.
Some people were lucky enough to snap a photo with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese who declared WA's resources and mining sector was at the 'front and centre' of the future of a more productive and dynamic Australian economy.
