‘Chief of War' actress: Supporting Hawaiian stories was an ‘incredibly spiritual' journey

Indigenous Storyteller Scholarship Recipient Sean Kinchela
The Indigenous Storytellers Scholarship recipient of the 2025, has been announced, Sean Kinchela a proud Gamilaroi and Wiradjuri man living on the Far South Coast of NSW on Yuin Country, captured the attention of Façon Magazine and Greater Bank panel. Sean has built his own creative business, Local Famous, that has taken him in many directions with his photography, design, painting and more. The Scholarship is awarded to catepualt the creative ventures of the recipient as well as pair creatives like Sean with industry professionals. "I'm lucky enough to be mentored by another Gamilaroi and Wiradjuri woman, Marley Morgan, who is an incredibly photographer". "I'm just willing to learn whatever I can along the way."
