Development activities in Dakshina Kannada will be pushed in apolitical manner, says Dinesh
Development works in Dakshina Kannada district will be pushed in apolitical manner, said Dakshina Kannada District in charge Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao in Mangaluru on Friday.
Speaking at the inauguration of Devaraj Urs Bhavan and Indira Gandhi Women Nursing Students' hostel in Urva Store in Mangaluru, Mr. Rao said development schemes and programmes were being implemented with a focus on developing all regions in the district. He will take all public representatives into confidence for implementation of development programmes.
Mr. Rao laid foundation stones for the D. Devaraj Urs Post Metric Girls Hostel and Model Post Metric Hostel for Girls. These hostels will meet the requirement of students coming to study in institutions in Dakshina Kannada, he said.
The Minister visited the centenary building of the Indian Red Cross Society's Dakshina Kannada district unit, which will be inaugurated by Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot in Mangaluru on Saturday.
