For Gillan Anderson, intimate scenes are never a joy

Hollywood actress Gillian Anderson has shared that intimate scenes are a tricky territory to walk through during the process of acting. For her, such scenes are "never a joy". The 56-year-old actress shares an intimate scene in a tent with co-star Jason Isaacs in her new movie 'The Salt Path', reports 'Female First UK'. The film is based on the true story of couple Raynor and Moth Winn who embark on an epic walk in the UK after a bad health diagnosis and homelessness. As per 'Female First UK', the actress said that such things are part and parcel of acting. As she said, "That is something you just expect as an actor'. The actress told 'The Sun', "That's part of what one does. I had an experience for many, many years working with the same actor every day. I've also done sex scenes on the very first day of working, which is never a joy at any time during filming. "So you're thrown stuff all the time and just show whatever you're given'. 'The X-Files' star added that it was straightforward to film the raunchy scenes with her "amenable" co-star Isaacs. She said, "Jason makes it very easy. He's very amenable, he's very likeable. And certainly physically, we feel like we're the same language, certainly by the end. We feel like our journey is baked into us, and we feel like we're part of the same conversation'. Gillian explained that she became desperate to play Raynor after reading her book of the same name and being "profoundly affected" by the story. "I read the book and I couldn't speak for days. I was really profoundly affected by it. I think I might have threatened them with an inch of their lives to hire me', she added. Indo-Asian News Service

Rasha Thadani has ‘first Dan rank' in Taekwondo, reveals Raveena

Actress Raveena Tandon revealed that her actress-daughter Rasha Thadani, whom she lovingly calls her 'Lakshmi', has a first Dan rank in Taekwondo. Raveena was in conversation with Farah Khan on the latter's Youtube channel. While giving a tour of her sustainable home, which has furniture made out of recycled wood, Raveena showcased a wall with the belts, which included a red, green and black. Raveena said: 'She is a first Dan First Dan Taekwondo She is a Dan.' In martial arts, a 1st Dan rank signifies the beginning of black belt level. It's the first level of a black belt, indicating that the individual has achieved a certain level of mastery and expertise. Farah said: 'My children also did Judo but after Blue Belt I think they left.' Raveena then showcased her son Ranbir's autograph collection and CDs, which are not available. She also showed a photo frame featuring Rasha's tiny footprints. The frame was put on the door. Revealing the reason, Raveena said: 'Look at my Laxmi's leg. Who is my Laxmi? Rasha. When a girl is born Laxmi is born in the house. If you keep her leg's mark on the door it will be good.' Further into the conversation, Raveena revealed that she was only allowed to go out with Farah, when she was young. 'The first time I went to a disco was when I was allowed, it was with Farah.' Raveena made her acting debut in the 1991 action film 'Patthar Ke Phool.' She established herself with films such as 'Dilwale,' 'Mohra,' 'Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi,' 'Ziddi,' and 'Laadla.' She will next be seen in 'Housefull 5' directed by Tarun Mansukhani. Meanwhile Rasha has recreated her mother's iconic track 'Chalo Ishq Ladaye' with actor Vedang Raina. The 'Sky Force' actor Veer Pahariya also reacted to their collaboration. In the comment section, Veer Pahariya called Rasha Thadani 'Heroine No.1,' expressing admiration towards the newcomer's screen presence and fluid dance moves. Rasha and Vedang teamed up for a skincare brand for its advertisement. Now that the audience has seen Vedang and Rasha's team up over an advertisement, they desire to watch Veer Pahariya and Rasha Thadani collaborate for a film, whether rom-com or thriller or comedy, and ignite the screens with their chemistry and believability as fresh faces. While Rasha Thadani made her way into Bollywood with 'Azaad,' Veer Pahariya made his debut with 'Sky Force,' which turned out to be a rather unconventional choice. Picking a patriotic role for a first film seems an uneasy task, however, Veer Pahariya's passion and hard work made it believable and sincere. The positive reviews and word of mouth further establish the fact that he's here to stay. 'Azaad' also marked the acting debut of Ajay Devgn's nephew, Aaman Devgan. Set in 1920s India, 'Azaad' sheds light on the life of a young stable boy who bonds with a spirited horse. The film also has Ajay Devgn, and Diana Penty in crucial roles. Indo-Asian News Service

Woman arrested after attempting to enter Bollywood superstar Salman's building

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's security cover has been breached once again. In a recent incident, a woman, Isha Chhabra, 32, entered the lift area of the superstar's residence at Galaxy apartment in the Bandra area of Mumbai. However, before she could make her way to the actor's core residential area, she was intercepted by the security vehicle at Salman Khan's Galaxy apartment on Thursday. Security guards at the Galaxy Apartment nabbed the woman and handed her to the Bandra police, based on the complaint of the security guard, the Bandra police have registered a case against the woman and are investigating the case further. This comes in the wake of heightened security around the actor owing to threats by the jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The actor has been on the radar of Bishnoi, who wants to avenge the alleged hunting of the black buck by the superstar in the 1990s. Last year, two men on a bike fired multiple shots outside the actor's residence Galaxy Apartments in the Bandra area of Mumbai. The investigation later revealed that the shooting was aimed at intimidating the actor and was carried out on the instructions of Lawrence Bishnoi. The Bishnoi community considers blackbucks to be sacred, and the actor's alleged involvement has enraged the gangster, who has revenge on his mind. Bishnoi, who gained national attention after the murder of Punjabi star Sidhu Moose Wala in 2022, has openly given threats to Salman for his alleged involvement in the black buck hunting case during the shoot of 'Hum Saath - Saath Hain'. This year on Eid, the superstar also greeted his fans from behind the bullet-proof installed in his balcony. The actor also spoke with the media earlier this year, and agreed that on some days moving with security does become a problem for him. The actor also said that he is not afraid of the threats, and has left it to God to look after him and safety. Indo-Asian News Service
