This week, we've got a look ahead at retro video game night at Harper Lane Brewery. Plus, dinner for two, Easter reservations, and seafood Fridays. Let's dig in: Join Inebri-Art at Harper Lane Brewery, 16 Wareham St., Middleboro, for a retro video game night on Thursday, April 10, from 6 to 9 p.m. This game night will be for guests 21 and older, and it will feature classic video games that will take you right back to your childhood, whether you're an Atari pro or a Mario Kart master. General admission is free. Reserve your spot at 'Set the bar high': Taunton High School's Tiger Shack and Tiger Café earn Gold Certification from DECA Stop by The Pearl, 76 Weir St., Taunton, for their dinner for two special. Enjoy two entrees, with a bottle of house wine and dessert to share, for $50. Choose from: junior steak; steak shish kabob; bifana plate; caçoila plate; pork Alentejana; baked scrod; grilled salmon; bacalhau a Gomes de Sa; shrimp Mozambique; seafood Avana; fish and chips; chicken Mozambique; chicken parmesan; or chicken Madeira. House wines include chardonnay, cabernet sauvignon, merlot, and pinot grigio. This special is for dine-in guests only, and available on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Want a free tree?: How Taunton residents can get one. Bonus: someone will plant it for you La Familia, 431 Winthrop St., Taunton, is taking Easter reservations. They'll be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and they'll have a special menu including prime rib, roast leg of lamb, baked Virginia ham, and more. To make a reservation, call 508-823-8664. GuChanYa Pastry, 219 School St., Taunton, will have a seafood menu available every Friday until Easter. Fish options include seafood rice, chicharros (smelts), fish and chips, a fish sandwich, and sardines. For shrimp, they've got shrimp tacos, coconut shrimp, shrimp bisque, shrimp Mozambique, and shrimp stir fry. They've also got clam chowder. Octopus and squid options include octopus stew, grilled octopus, calamari stew, fried calamari, and octopus rice. Call 774-365-1011. Brack's Tavern, 58 E. Grove St., Middleboro, will be hosting Easter Sunday brunch on April 20. There will be a brunch buffet in the function room, with reservations being accepted from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The buffet menu will include scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hand-carved honey-baked ham, roasted potatoes, frittata, fresh fruit, a waffle station, seasonal salad, assorted sweet breads, a parfait station, a prime rib carving station, spinach pesto ravioli, and cranberry-stuffed chicken. Adults eat for $37 and children under 12 eat for $18. Tax and gratuity are not included in the price. Brack's will also have their full menu available in the restaurant, as well as specials, and they're accepting restaurant reservations from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Call 508-923-0099.
