US Polo Assn unveils new store concept in Malad, Mumbai
US Polo Assn has unveiled its newly renovated store at Infinity Mall in Malad, Mumbai, introducing an updated retail concept designed to reflect the brand's evolving identity. Spanning 2,877 square feet, the store brings together sport-inspired fashion and American heritage, designed to facilitate an immersive shopping experience. 'The Infinity Malad store introduces a bold chapter for US Polo Assn in India- where design, experience, and innovation come together in a more contemporary and immersive way," said US Polo Assn India's chief executive officer Amitabh Suri in a press release. "This new concept is built for today's consumer: more dynamic, more versatile, and more connected." The store offers a comprehensive range of menswear, denim, inner wear, and footwear, including the brand's latest Spring/ Summer 2025 collection and the exclusive USPA x Pacho line. A prominent feature is the new polo wall, which highlights the label's signature polo shirt through a dedicated visual display. The store opening aligns with the brand's 135th anniversary celebrations alongside the United States Polo Association and reinforces its focus on retail innovation in India. US Polo Assn operates over 1,100 stores globally and is present in more than 190 countries.

Jogger injured in hit-and-run in Malad West
MUMBAI: A 51-year-old jogger was seriously injured after a vehicle knocked her down in Malad West early on Saturday. Police said her condition is stable and they are checking CCTV footage to identify the vehicle and its driver. Bangur Nagar police identified the woman as Pooja Verma, a homemaker and a regular morning jogger for the last ten years. On Saturday, she and her husband were jogging on the street behind Infinity Mall at 5.45 am. Pooja was trailing her husband by around 30 metres, when a white car intending to take a right turn knocked her down. Pooja injured her left shoulder, forehead, nose and left knee. Her husband rushed her to a private hospital in Malad West. Police said she has sustained multiple fractures. 'We are checking CCTV footage to identify the vehicle and the accused,' said a police officer. A case has been registered against an unknown driver under Sections 281 (rash driving or riding on a public way), 125(b) (act endangering life or personal safety of others), and 110 (attempt to commit culpable homicide) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, along with the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.
