First Infinity Stone Debuts In Magic: The Gathering Marvel's Spider-Man Crossover Set
It was inevitable. Since the first Marvel-themed Magic: The Gathering card landed in the franchise, it was certain that the Infinity Stones would eventually make their appearance. After all, cards like Fist of Suns and a variant art of Arcane Signet, each alluding to the Infinity Gauntlet, have been teased in Magic: The Gathering. For years, fans speculated and yearned for a collision of two of the world's most expansive pop culture universes: Marvel and Magic. The power of the cosmos will present itself at the humble street level as the upcoming Marvel's Spiderman Universes Beyond Magic: The Gathering set in the form of the Soul Stone. The key aspect of the extended art Soul Stone card is the foiling treatment, which we presume is the maximum rarity the card can achieve. We last saw a similar treatment in the One Ring from the Lord of the Rings Universes Beyond set. Devoid of any text, players will have to remember the card's ability to bring back creatures from the graveyard directly onto the battlefield after paying (or cheating) the hefty card cost. One can safely assume that the Soul Stone will not be the first as players will be looking to assemble the rest of the Infinity Gems. The Soul Stone is likely the starting points for a broader phased release in which the six Infinity Stones will be distributed across various future Marvel Magic: The Gathering sets. If we're to make an educated guess, once players have collected all six stones, and placing it within the Gauntlet, unlocking a special win condition would be the most natural outcome. The only thing left then would be to do this – Gerald currently straddles between his love of video games and board gaming. There's nothing that interests him more than trying out the newest and fanciest gadget in town as well. He dreams of publishing a board game sometime in the future! James Gunn Reveals He Came Up With the MCU's Infinity Stones Lore in 3 Minutes — GeekTyrant
So much of the Marvel Cinematic Universe hinges on the Infinity Stones. They drove the plot for over a decade, shaped character arcs, and culminated in Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame . But according to Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn, the entire mythology behind these cosmic MacGuffins came together in… about three minutes. While chatting with GQ and reflecting on his Marvel run, Gunn casually dropped that he was the one who gave the Infinity Stones their cinematic lore, and he did it without much of a game plan from Marvel. 'I knew there were Infinity Stones when they said, 'You know, we have been thinking, and we think maybe some of these things have been Infinity Stones in different ways. And so, could you write up what the Infinity Stones mean?'' Gunn said there were no formal outlines, no grand Kevin Feige whiteboard moment. Just a need for some connective tissue between 'the red thing and the blue thing.' 'It was literally me sitting down for three minutes and writing that. And that's then what became the rest of the Infinity Stones.' That scene with Benicio del Toro's Collector explaining the stones? That was Gunn's three-minute brain dump. And somehow, that little lore drop became the backbone of the entire Infinity Saga. He also clarified that Marvel wasn't locked into any color scheme early on: 'The Power Stone in Guardians of the Galaxy was originally red. And then they decided the red thing in Thor: The Dark World was going to be the Reality Stone. So then [the Power Stone] became purple in post.' It's a reminder of how fluid the MCU's worldbuilding really was in those early days. The Infinity Stones were once just placeholders that Gunn helped unify with a quick write-up. No massive committee, no big lore bible. Just a guy with a keyboard, comic book knowledge, and three free minutes.

Who is Mephisto? Learn About New MCU Villain and Where He Could Appear Next After Ironheart
Mephisto has finally entered the MCU in the final episode of Ironheart, leaving many fans wondering how powerful he is and where he could appear next. The demonic villain is known for striking deals that often come at a heavy price, and his first appearance hints at a larger role in the MCU's future. A devil's deal in Ironheart In Ironheart, Mephisto is shown giving the Hood his powers through an enchanted cloak. This cloak lets the Hood turn invisible and bend bullets. Mephisto appears in a flashback, offering Parker Robbins a way out of danger by creating a door to a pizzeria. There, he freezes everyone with just a gaze and hints he could do the same to all of Chicago, as per ScreenRant. Mephisto's powers are clear when he removes Riri Williams from her suit with a wave and reads her mind. The season ends with Natalie's resurrection, thanks to Mephisto. This suggests that Mephisto's powers include reality-bending and control over life and death, making him one of the MCU's strongest characters so far. More powerful than Thanos? Thanos was the main threat in the Infinity Saga, using the Infinity Gauntlet to wipe out half the universe. Without the stones, Thanos was still strong enough to beat Hulk and take on the Avengers. But Mephisto's powers don't rely on any external objects like the Infinity Stones. He manipulates reality and souls by nature, putting him above Thanos in some ways. Here's where Mephisto could appear next With Ironheart wrapped up, many fans are asking: Where could Mephisto show up again? Several upcoming MCU projects could feature the demonic villain. First, an Ironheart Season 2 could explore Riri Williams' deal with Mephisto, but since the show was a limited series, this is uncertain. Riri's story may continue in the rumored Young Avengers series, and Mephisto could appear there too. Another strong option is Doctor Strange 3. The sorcerer faced Dormammu before, so Mephisto would fit right in as another supernatural villain. A Midnight Sons movie is also rumored. This team could include Ghost Rider, Blade, Morbius, and Werewolf by Night, characters naturally connected to Mephisto as per ScreenRant. Finally, a Ghost Rider project has long been rumored. Since Ghost Rider's origin story involves Mephisto, he would likely return if that film moves forward.

Mitena captures Danaya, Armea; steals Brilyante ng Lupa
Mitena (Rhian Ramos) has been collecting queens like Thanos collects Infinity Stones. Monday's episode of "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" showed Mitena capturing former queen of Lireo Danaya (Sanya Lopez) and current queen of Sapiro Armea (Ysabel Ortega). Armea was the first to confront Mitena to seek revenge for her mother, Alena (Gabbi Garcia), who was previously captured by the Ice Queen. Mitena used her scepter to torture Armea and trapped her inside a crystal, like she did with Alena. Later, Pirena (Glaiza De Castro) fought many Mine-a-ve soldiers to engage Mitena in battle. Pirena and Mitena clashed in a fierce showdown, wielding the powers of the Brilyante ng Apoy and the Brilyante ng Tubig—the latter of which Mitena had stolen earlier. While Pirena was on the brink of defeat, Danaya arrived just in time to help her sister in the battle against Mitena, wielding the power of the Brilyante ng Lupa. Using her powers and scepter, Mitena attempted to absorb Danaya and Pirena's gems. When they realized what happened, Pirena cast the "Ivictus" spell and vanished from the battlefield. Danaya failed to disengage like Pirena and Mitena succeeded in seizing the Brilyante ng Lupa. She was later trapped inside a crystal, just as Mitena had done with Armea and Alena. Inside the crystal, Danaya prayed to Emre for Terra's safety and protection in the mortal world, choosing to conceal her child's true identity and powers until she comes of age. Meanwhile, another major character died in the episode: Azulan, Pirena's husband and Flamarra's father. "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" airs weeknights on GMA Network at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras." You can also watch it on YouTube via the Kapuso Stream. —Jade Veronique Yap/MGP, GMA Integrated News

Chris Evans disappointed he was not 'invited to the party' for Avengers: Doomsday, Entertainment News
Chris Evans is disappointed not to be "invited to the party" for Avengers: Doomsday. The 43-year-old actor — who played Captain America across eight films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) — has admitted while he's still in touch with his former castmates, there's a different feeling after leaving the franchise in Avengers: Endgame. He told ScreenRant: "Yeah, I talk to them all the time. It's where Pedro [Pascal] is right now. I mean, it's sad to be away. "It's sad to not be back with the band, but I'm sure they're doing something incredible, and I'm sure it's going to be that much harder when it comes out, and you feel like you weren't invited to the party." Evans made his final appearance in the MCU when his Captain America travels back in time to return the Infinity Stones. He decides to stay in the past with Peggy Carter, while in the present day, the moniker and shield are passed onto Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie). Mackie, 46, will be in the upcoming blockbuster, and he has teased the film will give audiences "that old Marvel feeling". He told IGN: "We're kicking on down the road, so everybody's getting excited and we're getting the band back together. "We're supposed to go out this week, and we'll be out there doing it. Everybody's excited. I feel with the script and having the Russo brothers back, it's going to be great. "I'm really excited for what this project is going to be. It's going to give the audience that old Marvel feeling that they always had." Meanwhile, Alan Cumming recently admitted he was "amazed and excited" to be returning as Nightcrawler for Avengers: Doomsday, which is currently filming in London. Speaking with fellow X-Men star Olivia Munn for Collider, he said: "Isn't it nuts? I'm excited and amazed. It's been 23 years since I was a superhero." And Cumming has appeared to reveal he will be fighting Pascal in Avengers: Doomsday. The 60-year-old actor is set to reprise his X2: X-Men United mutant Nightcrawler in the upcoming MCU blockbuster, and the star hinted he may be coming to blows with Pascal's Mr. Fantastic. During a video interview with Buzzfeed UK, Cumming said: "I was learning stunts yesterday for some fight scene and I just think, I'm 60 years old. 23 years ago, I played that superhero. "I was kind of old for a superhero even then. And now I'm back doing it. And that, to me, is hilarious. "I'm sort of learning these fights and I'm like, 'What? Who am I fighting with?' And they said, 'You're hitting Pedro Pascal against the head,' or something." [[nid:718844]]
