The model continues to command a strong customer base built on its reputation for comfort, durability and reliability. Launched in 2005, the Innova redefined the multi-purpose vehicle segment in India. In 2016, Toyota introduced the Crysta, and in 2022, the Innova HyCross debuted with a self-charging hybrid electric powertrain. The HyCross has contributed significantly to the brand's recent growth, recording one lakh sales in India by November 2024, just two years after its launch. 'The Toyota Innova has built a deep emotional bond with customers over the last two decades – trusted as a dependable companion for families, loved for its comfort and reliability, and chosen across generations,' said Varinder Wadhwa, Vice President - Sales, Service & Used Cars at TKM. The HyCross, for instance, incorporates Toyota's fifth-generation self-charging hybrid system with a 2.0-litre petrol engine and delivers a max power output of 186 PS along with segment-leading fuel efficiency.
