Insolation Energy bags major 109.79 MW solar project from Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam
Insolation Energy announced a major business win for its wholly owned subsidiary, Insolation Green Energy Pvt. Ltd. The company has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (JVVNL) for the development and long-term operation of grid-connected solar power plants across 58 locations in Rajasthan. This project falls under the PM-KUSUM Component A Scheme, which promotes solar energy adoption in the agricultural sector.
The total capacity of these upcoming solar installations is 109.79 MW. The scope of work includes everything from design and survey to supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the plants—along with comprehensive operation and maintenance for the next 25 years. These solar plants will be connected via 11 kV lines to various 33/11 kV substations and will also feature a remote monitoring system for performance tracking.
The project is set to be completed by the first quarter of FY 2026–27 and is expected to involve an investment of around ₹380 crore, including GST. Once operational, these plants are estimated to generate over 17.5 crore units of clean electricity annually, translating to a total yearly revenue of approximately ₹45.8 crore. Tariffs for the power generated have been finalized at ₹2.55, ₹3.037, and ₹3.04 per unit, depending on the site.
