Tesco Extra submits plans for new facilities for shoppers to enjoy
A SALISBURY Tesco will have new facilities for shoppers to enjoy, so long as plans are approved by the council.
Tesco put in an application to Wiltshire Council for its Tesco Extra superstore on Bourne Way on Tuesday, July 29.
According to the county council's planning portal, the plan is for new "click and collect parking".
As well as the new parking, the canopy above it will be "finished in Red RAL 3020, with galvanised steel posts for support and 14 new bollards."

"As such, the project does not encroach upon or impact any existing green space or habitats.
"Given that there is no disturbance or reduction of natural areas, the requirement for Biodiversity Net Gain does not apply to this proposal, as there are no negative impacts on local biodiversity or green infrastructure."
