Katie Price pleads 'I'm trying to be the best I can' as she responds to Peter Andre's bombshell statement with bizarre post about 'fake Sinners who play the victim'
Katie Price has responded to Peter Andre 's bombshell statement with a bizarre Instagram post about 'fake Sinners who play the victim' on Friday. Peter, 52, hit back at Katie's 'baseless lies over the last 16 years' in a blistering statement on Thursday night, just hours after she urged him to take part in peace talks as their daughter Princess Andre has been 'unfairly' dragged into their feud. Rumours of a 'rift' between Katie and their daughter Princess have been growing in recent weeks after Katie didn't attend Princess' 18th birthday party, or appear on the nepo baby 's fly-on-the-wall ITV television series. Katie, 47, who shares Princess, 18, and son Junior, 20, with Peter, later claimed that it was her daughter's management who had told her not to appear on the show. In a lengthy Instagram statement, Katie pleaded 'I'm trying to be the best I can' while noting 'she hasn't always been the best mother'. She wrote: 'Saints and sinners. As we know, in this life we are thought of as Saints and Sinners. In a lengthy Instagram statement, Katie pleaded 'I'm trying to be the best I can' while noting 'she hasn't always been the best mother' 'I know I will always be a Sinner. That's fair, I allowed myself to fail into reliance on drugs and alcohol. 'At times I was not the mother I should have been while I struggled with mental illness. I have been at times a poor friend, an awful sibling, an an untrustworthy partner. 'I've self medicated, been unfaithful, damaged myself and those that I love. 'I've had many reasons - I was sexually abused when younger; I've had relationships that have been coercive; and my mental health issues - but I don't want to make excuses. 'I've recognised my issues and worked to put them behind me. Sometimes I tried and failed, sometimes I succeeded. 'I've pulled myself out of suicidal spiral because I love my children and want to be there for them. 'I don't pretend to be perfect by any means - but I'm trying to be the best I can.' She added: 'Then there are the "Saints". Some are genuine and some have helped me. 'But some Saints are not who they would have you believe they are. They have a carefully managed image which must be exhausting to maintain. 'Some Saints are fake. They play the victim and to succeed in life they need a villain... or at least a Sinner. Without the Sinner they don't get to be the Saint... 'As a Sinner - I sometimes get bored of these Saints. But maybe I should feel sorry for them, It must be such hard work having to pretend all the time. 'Anyway, all you Sinners keep your heads up and keep trying to be better. All you Saints, it's ok not to be perfect xxx' The Mysterious Girl singer and the former glamour model split in 2009 after four years of marriage, but have remained devoted parents to their children Junior and Princess. Peter shared his side of the story on Thursday, explaining: 'For sixteen years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silent has been incredibly frustrating. That ends today. 'The latest comments about my children's welfare and living arrangements compel me to set the record straight. For well-documented reasons, and for their safety, Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and remained with me until they reached adulthood. 'In 2019, the family courts issued a legally binding order to enforce this arrangement. I have never made this public before, out of respect for my children.' He continued: 'In 2011 and 2015, publicly documented court cases found my ex-wife had made false claims. She was ordered to pay substantial damages and legal costs, and to apologise to me and my management. The same falsehoods are being repeated today. 'Unfortunately, there are many more lies and baseless accusations I have yet to address. Those will now be dealt with in the coming months.' A spokesperson for Katie told Daily Mail: 'Kate is in a much better and clear headspace and is at peace with the situation. This was in the past and she doesn't feel the need to bring up tit for tat comments, but more importantly she's dealing with this the right way and it's now in her lawyers hands. Kate will no longer be gaslighted and bullied as she once was.' It comes after Katie called on Peter to sit down with her and 'squash their beef' for the sake of their family. Speaking on the latest on the latest episode of her Katie Price Show podcast, Katie - who is currently recovering from more facial surgery - shared: 'There's no reason why both parents just can't be there to support her.' She continued: 'Now this isn't about me. I have to clarify this. I don't care that I'm not in Princess's show. 'I don't need to raise my profile by being on Princess's show, I do enough stuff. 'All what I want to do, is just whatever my daughter does, and it's the same with Junior, I don't care if I'm in the background, but I want to watch her do her photo shoots, I wanna watch her do her signings, because that's what I did. 'And my mom and you and Nan used to come along and support, and I'm proud of her. And I just wanna be there with her because I now I feel that I've missed out on so much.' Katie went on: 'It's so not fair to bring Princess piggy in the middle. So I think it's about time all of us adults just sit down and talk about what their beef is with me and just get over it. 'Life would be more at peace because I don't have a problem. I just think life would be a better place. 'Well, I'm not saying we all have to be best buddies, best friends, but come on. For the sake of the children, there's room for everyone to support your kids. Do you know what I mean? I'm not saying I have to stand with them and play happy families.' Elsewhere in the chat, Katie's sister Sophie urged her niece to push for Katie's inclusion on the show. Sophie mused: 'Ultimately I do think it's down to Princess to put her foot down a bit'. But Katie shot back and said Princess will be 'scared' to speak up to her management about what she really wants. She said: 'But, she'll be scared Soph. What you got to remember is when I started my career, I didn't have people like the management and all that around me. I used to get the train, go on castings, I put the graft in.' Elsewhere in the chat, Katie's sister Sophie urged her niece Princess to push for Katie's inclusion on the show (pictured together in 2021) For a time, Katie and Pete were the golden couple of reality TV, with a lavish wedding and a string of big-money deals making them one of the most talked-about pairs in Britain. But things turned sour between the pair when their marriage came to an end in 2009 after four years together, with Katie claiming it was Peter's decision to walk away from the relationship. Much of the nation has witnessed the fall-out of the end Katie and Peter's marriage, and the string of public swipes that have been thrown from both sides. Princess opened up about the impact of her parents' tumultuous divorce in her new ITV2 reality series The Princess Diaries, sharing she felt she couldn't 'go to her dad' after he split from Katie due to their dislike of one another. She revealed on the show how she has a counsellor and previously 'couldn't just go to my dad' due to her parents 'not liking each other'. In recent weeks, Katie had been speaking out after being banned from taking part in Princess' TV show, which is made by Can Associates, with the former glamour model making not-so-subtle digs. Princess' television show will focus on her home life with her father Peter, his wife Emily and big brother Junior, as well as her career as an influencer, and is being made by Pete's management company, Can Associates. The firm memorably looked after Katie when she was with Pete from 2003 until 2009, the year they sensationally split. But recently, Katie blasted 'people who used to look after me', believed to be referring to Peter Andre 's management company, on a recent episode of her Katie Price Show podcast. She went on a rant about the awkward snub from Princess' 18th birthday party with her sister Sophie as she cryptically blamed 'certain people'. Katie said: 'Princess is now officially an adult so mummy and Princess can now go out together. If certain people would let her be seen with me.' Sophie said: 'I noticed in her 18th birthday pictures she was wearing the shoes you bought her for Christmas ,' with Katie replying: 'Oh did she? I love that.' Katie added: 'Everyone knows she's doing this documentary - and I'm not in it. Certain people don't think it's good for Princess to be seen with me. Certain people that used to look after me.' Her sister said: 'You aren't on brand Katie. You are too risky Katie that's why. While Katie added: 'It's pathetic. I'm her mother. It's so sad. When certain people who used to look after me are now looking after...' Her sister Sophie then urged Katie to 'save it for another day'. Katie was allegedly referring to her old PR team, who still manage her ex-husband Peter and their children Junior and Princess. Daily Mail contacted The Can Group for comment at the time. During their time together, CAN arranged for Katie and Peter to make a big money reality show with ITV called Katie And Peter and helped make them millions. But Katie has since fallen out with CAN, putting an end to any chances of her appearing on Princess's programme. Katie previously filed legal documents against Peter, their former representatives and former manager Claire. She claimed at the time they were responsible for a smear campaign against her. Katie blamed Claire for the breakdown of her marriage in 2009, claiming Peter was 'married to two women' and had an affair with Claire during their relationship. She had to publicly apologise to both Peter and Claire after she was taken to court and lost the case. The Real Husbands of Katie Price In the decades since she first rose to fame, Katie Price has enjoyed – and quite likely endured – a decidedly busy love life that has seen her walk down the aisle three times before heading to divorce court in equal measure. Here's a look at the trio with whom she exchanged 'I dos'... and 'I don'ts': PETER ANDRE (2005 - 2009) The nation got to watch love blossom between the pair when they starred alongside one another on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here back in 2004. The flying sparks soon became nuptials, with blushing bride Katie and her erstwhile pop hunk beau tying the knot at Highclere Castle (the grand Berkshire estate of Downton Abbey fame) in September 2005. Katie, who was already mother to son Harvey (born in 2002 following a romance with former footballer Dwight Yorke), soon started a family with her new husband. The couple welcomed son Junior in 2005, while daughter Princess followed in 2007. Creation between the pair also came artistically, with the release of reality programmes, a failed talk show and a foray into the music world. However, after four years of securing their position as the Ken and Barbie of reality TV and glossy magazine deals, the pair announced in 2009 that they were going their separate ways. ALEX REID (2010 - 2012) Katie soon switched her romantic allegiance from a onetime ab-bearing pop heartthrob to musclebound MMA fighter Alex Reid. The two met at Michelle Heaton's 30th birthday party at London's Cafe de Paris. But shortly after they got together, Katie dumped Alex on live TV, only for him to win her back and the pair go from strength to strength. Weeks after proudly cheering her man on to a win on the 2010 edition of Celebrity Big Brother (also featuring none other than her ex-boyfriend Dane Bowers), Katie jetted off to Las Vegas to tie the knot with her new partner in February 2010 after just seven months of dating – and nine months after divorcing Peter. Following their Sin City sojourn, the pair returned to their native UK, where they had a formal ceremony – which was filmed for a TV series. However, after just 11 months of marriage, the pair announced they were splitting and their divorce was finalised in March 2012. While Katie declared at the time that she married Alex 'too soon', she would later go on to reveal that a major factor in their split was his cross-dressing alter-ego Roxanne. KIERAN HAYLER (2013 - 2021) Showing herself to be a true woman of the times, Katie embarked on a romance with former stripper Kieran after the two met on the now-defunct Blackberry Messenger service in 2012. And just two months after altering the paths of their lives via those thumb-tapped fateful opening messages, the twosome would go on to exchange nuptials in the Caribbean. Kieran proposed to a thrilled Katie on Christmas Day 2012, and just three weeks later, the pair would be pronounced husband and wife in the idyllic shores of the Bahamas on January 16, 2013. They had their marriage blessed in Weston-super Mare, and in the months that followed, it appeared that Katie had finally found her happily ever after. They welcomed son Jett in August 2013, and daughter Bunny in August 2014. But Katie's world came crashing down in 2014, when she discovered that Kieran had cheated on her with her close friend of 20 years, Jane Pountney, and was enjoying a fling with another of her pals, Chrissy Thomas. After publicly lashing out at all parties involved (and naming her pet pigs after her friends-turned-foes), Katie appeared determined to make things work when she renewed her vows with Kieran in 2015. But alas, it would not turn out to be third time lucky for Katie, as the pair split in 2018 amid even more cheating allegations. Their 'amicable' divorce was finalised in early 2021.

Microsoft Accused of Censoring Pro-Palestinian Terms in Internal Emails
Microsoft is under fire from within its own ranks as reports emerge that thetech giant is filtering internal emails containing terms such as"Palestine," "Gaza," and "genocide." Thecontroversy comes amid growing criticism of the company's alleged ties to theIsraeli military, with employees and public figures voicing concerns over whatthey see as complicity in human rights violations. The censorship claims were brought forward by No Azure for Apartheid,a coalition of pro-Palestinian Microsoft employees. According to the group,Microsoft began filtering these terms shortly after its flagship developerevent, Microsoft Build 2025, was disrupted by an engineerprotesting the company's involvement with Israel. While the system reportedly blocks words like "Palestine,"variations such as "P4lestine" or "Israel" seem to bypassthe filter, suggesting that the block is targeted. Employees argue this movestifles internal dissent and prevents meaningful dialogue within the company. In response to the criticism, Microsoft stated in a recent blog post that thereis 'no evidence' its technology is being used to harmcivilians in Gaza. However, this assurance has done little to calm the growingunrest. Brian Eno Joins the Chorus of Critics Public outrage over Microsoft's actions has now extended beyond its musician and artist Brian Eno, known for composingthe startup chime for Windows 95, voiced his disapproval in a recent Instagrampost. 'I gladly took on the [Windows 95] project as a creative challenge andenjoyed the interaction with my contacts at the company,' Eno wrote. 'I neverwould have believed that the same company could one day be implicated in themachinery of oppression and war.' Eno demanded that Microsoft 'suspend all services that support anyoperations that contribute to violations of international law.' He wasespecially critical of the company's contracts with Israel's Ministry ofDefense, accusing it of enabling 'surveillance, violence, and destruction inPalestine.' Employee Protests Continue to Escalate The backlash is not confined to social media. Microsoft employees havestaged several high-profile protests over the past few months. During CEO SatyaNadella's keynote speech at Build 2025, Azure engineer JoeLopez interrupted the event, shouting: 'Satya, how about you show how Microsoft is killing Palestinians?' Lopez was swiftly removed by security, but he later expanded on his views inan internal email shared on Medium. 'I can no longer stand by in silence as Microsoft continues to facilitateIsrael's ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people,' he wrote. Lopez claimed to have seen internal documents indicating Microsoft beganpitching services to the Israeli military shortly after the October 7, 2023attacks. 'Microsoft openly admitted to allowing the Israel Ministry of Defence'special access to our technologies beyond the terms of our commercialagreements,'' he added. 'Do you really believe that this 'special access' wasallowed only once?' Despite Microsoft's blog post asserting that a third-party review found 'noevidence' of its technology being used to harm civilians, Lopezdismissed the audit as 'non-transparent' and partiallyconducted by Microsoft itself. 'We don't need an internal audit to know that a top Azure customer iscommitting crimes against humanity,' he argued. 'We see it live on the internetevery day.' More Voices from Inside Lopez is not alone in challenging the company. Just last month, U.S.-basedemployee Vaniya Agrawal disrupted Microsoft's 50th-anniversarycelebration, confronting leadership including Nadella, Steve Ballmer, and BillGates. In a public letter, she condemned Microsoft's role in supportingIsrael's technological infrastructure, saying: 'It is undeniable that Microsoft's Azure cloud offerings and AI developmentsform the technological backbone of Israel's automated apartheid and genocidesystems.' Another engineer, Ibtihal Aboussad, made headlines aftershe interrupted a Microsoft AI event to confront AI CEO MustafaSuleyman with a blunt message: 'Mustafa, shame on you.' A Tense Road Ahead Microsoft's handling of internal dissent and its reported censorshippractices are drawing increasing scrutiny. With its own employees and prominentpublic figures calling for accountability, the company is now caught in agrowing storm over corporate ethics, technology's role in conflict, and theboundaries of free speech in the workplace. While Microsoft has attempted to reassure its workforce and the public, itsnext steps—particularly in how it handles employee concerns and transparencyaround international contracts—will likely define its reputation in thisrapidly unfolding controversy.
