Leaving Cert Reaction: English Paper 1 reviewed
Leaving Cert 2025 is officially up and running. Join us for reaction to English Paper 1 (Higher Level) with Liam Dingle, English teacher at the Institute of Education. And we have Exam Papers for you to download. Key points The paper reflected the world beyond the exam hall and the experiences of modern students. The layout and range of questions was consistent with recent papers. University of Cumbria degree show 2025 opens
The University of Cumbria is opening its doors this week and invites visitors to enjoy the work of its final year creative and media arts students. The university's Institute of Education, Arts and Society is inviting people to its undergraduate degree show 2025 - Made in Carlisle – taking place on its Brampton Road campus in Carlisle, where studio spaces have been transformed into exhibition galleries that are free and open to visitors. The exhibition showcases the work of this year's 70 final year students from across a range of subjects including Film and Television, Fine Art, Games Design, Graphic Design, Illustration, Photography and Wildlife Media. Leaving Cert Maths Ordinary Level study tips with Jean Kelly
Study Hub guest Jean Kelly, from Dublin's Institute of Education, is here to share her expert knowledge with students preparing for Leaving Cert Ordinary Level Maths. In the video up top she runs through Paper 1 and 2 with Study Hub host Maura Fay. Jean looks at what might come up and the best ways for students to get set. Jean also shared six videos full of great advice and tips for Leaving Cert students sitting the exams with RTÉ Learn. Jean has a wide breadth of experience in teaching Leaving Cert Ordinary Level Maths to students of all abilities and has been teaching in The Institute of Education for over 20 years. Over that time, Jean has developed an unmatched track record in helping students through the Maths syllabus and brings a refreshing approach to the explanation, clarification and tuition of the Maths syllabus.

Get set for Leaving Cert English with Study Hub
As the Leaving Cert Class of 2025 get set for the exams, we have great tips and advice from Study Hub with Maura Fay for Higher Level English. Conor Murphy from Skibbereen Community College brings us through Paper 1, and then we continue with Clodagh Havel from Dublin's Institute of Education on Paper 2. Conor says that you should try not to panic and that English Paper 1 is your friend. He also tells students how not to drop points. Press play up top! Clodagh says: "What is the examiner looking for? With over 20 years of experience teaching Maths, Applied Maths and Physics, textbook author Louise consults on the content of Mock Examination papers for students at both Leaving and Junior Certificate Level. For Paper 1 Louise says: "You can leave tougher questions to the end if you need to. You will get marks at the early parts of the questions so don't get in a tizzy."
