"Now they face the same dire conditions they report on," the agencies added."Journalists suffer from severe deprivation and hardship in war zones. We are deeply concerned that the threat of famine is now one of them," the agencies called on Israeli authorities to permit the entry and exit of journalists from Gaza and to ensure that sufficient food supplies reach the population. This, they stressed, is essential to maintain free and safe media coverage and allow journalists to perform their duties under humane and professional rare unified statement from the four leading media organizations underscores the worsening humanitarian crisis inside Gaza and the growing risks facing journalists operating in the war-torn territory.
