[Thu, 24 Jul 2025 17:11:52 +0300]Occupied al-Quds – Saba:Four major international news agencies—Associated Press, Agence France-Presse, BBC, and Reuters—on Thursday expressed deep concern for the safety and well-being of their journalists working in the Gaza Strip, in light of the rapidly deteriorating humanitarian conditions in the besieged a joint statement, the agencies said, "We are deeply concerned for our journalists in Gaza, who have been unable to feed themselves and their families for months."The statement emphasized that independent journalists have served as the 'eyes and ears of the world in Gaza,' highlighting the crucial role Palestinian reporters have played in delivering firsthand accounts of the escalating conflict. "Now they face the same dire conditions they report on," the agencies added."Journalists suffer from severe deprivation and hardship in war zones. We are deeply concerned that the threat of famine is now one of them," the agencies called on Israeli authorities to permit the entry and exit of journalists from Gaza and to ensure that sufficient food supplies reach the population.
