Tony Dalton was Cast in Intergalactic Because of His Work on The Last of Us
We don't know much about Naughty Dog's Intergalactic : The Heretic Prophet yet, but we do know that the game has some celebrities in the cast including Kumail Nanjiani ( Silicon Valley ) and Tony Dalton ( Better Call Saul ). While some (like myself) thought that Dalton's recent appearance in The Last of Us was because he was working on The Heretic Prophet , it's been revealed that it was actually backward, and he was cast in the game because of his work on the series. Talking to Entertainment Weekly, game director Neil Druckmann revealed that he was a fan of Dalton's work in Better Call Saul , and this was the reason he was cast as Javier Miller—Joel's dad. 'Tony Dalton was my first choice… I just loved his performance so much in Better Call Saul . I jokingly refer to him as the most charming, threatening man I've ever seen on television,' said Druckmann. As it turns out, Druckmann was so pleased with Dalton's performance on the show that he immediately just gave the Intergalactic job to Dalton. He explains, 'He immediately came to mind, and I just offered it to him on the spot.' It's not clear who Dalton is going to be playing in Intergalactic yet, but some suspect that he was a kind of mentor to the main character Jordan (Tati Gabrielle) who went missing. If Dalton's previous work is to be a reminder, he does manage to be charming while at the same time very threatening—which could be a hint to his character in the game (who I suspect is another 'Han Solo-type'). For now Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet has no release date, but you can catch Dalton in the latest episode of The Last of Us now on HBO Max.

‘The Last Of Us' Now Has Four Seasons, And Naughty Dog Is Making A ‘Secret Game'
The Last of Us Naughty Dog Almost everyone is praising The Last of Us' episode six, minus some game-players upset that a few lines were changed on a certain porch scene. After that aired, we now have some additional information from co-writer Craig Mazin that seems to alter the previously stated plans for the show's future. Originally it was said that because of its size, The Last of Us Part II would be split up into two seasons, two and three. Now, Mazin says even that's not big enough. Here's Mazin speaking with Collider: 'I think there's a decent chance that Season 3 will be longer than Season 2', said Mazin. 'But certainly, there's no way to complete this narrative in a third season. Hopefully, we'll earn our keep enough to come back and finish it in a fourth.' Again, it was previously said that only season 3 was needed, and now four seasons has fans questioning how this is going to play out. If season 3 is eight episodes to season 2's seven, what is season 4 going to be? Part II is long but that long? Many believe the seasons simply should be longer, but given how long production took just to get these seven season 2 episodes out, maybe not. Abby Naughty Dog Game spoilers follow as we can assume that after a certain theater fight in the season 2 finale, the third season will focus on Abby in a way that season 2 did not at all, as the game has a lengthy story about her past and what she's doing as Ellie begins her rampage. Key word, begins, as Ellie has only killed one member of her group and there are many others to go. Fans wonder if the idea is that season 3 will be an extended version of the Santa Barbara story, the finale of the game, but I have to believe it's going to be only a part of it, as they're already rushing the base story a bit, so it would need more pre-California stuff. Complicating all this is a revelation from Neil Druckmann that alongside Intergalactic, Naughty Dog is also working on a second, secret game that Druckmann is producing. He will not be as hands-on as other projects, he says. Is that The Last of Us Part III? That's unclear, but it stands to reason it could be that, or it could be something like the resurrection of Uncharted. I would be surprised if Naughty Dog launched two totally new IPs back to back as that seems like something of a risk. Though it's not exactly like Naughty Dog makes bad games. And if it is TLOU Part III, well that's some more HBO seasons eventually. It does seem weird to cram The Last of Us Part I into a single season and then need three to cover Part II, even if it is somewhat longer. But more Last of Us? I'll take it regardless. Naughty Dog, Neil Druckmann confirms production on new game has begun
Listen to article Renowned game director and Naughty Dog co-president Neil Druckmann has confirmed that the studio is developing an unannounced new IP, sparking a wave of speculation across the gaming world. Known for The Last of Us and Uncharted, Druckmann now finds himself steering multiple projects, including the upcoming Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet and HBO's The Last of Us adaptation. In a recent interview with Steffan Powell on the Press X to Continue podcast, Druckmann revealed that, while his primary focus remains Intergalactic, he is also overseeing another, as-yet-unannounced game as an executive producer. Though he offered no concrete details, his comments confirm the existence of a second AAA title in development at Naughty Dog. 'It's more of a producer role this time,' said Druckmann, noting he's working with other directors on both projects. 'I'm in the room, helping shape things, but not necessarily leading from the front.' This marks a shift in approach for Druckmann, who previously emphasised his preference to focus on one project at a time. Back in February, he explained that game development is 'all-consuming,' which made it difficult to juggle multiple titles. Yet the demands of Intergalactic, combined with Naughty Dog's evolving slate, appear to have pushed him into new territory. Industry insiders have linked the unannounced project to a potential Uncharted spin-off. According to reports from well-known leaker Daniel Richtman, the game is being directed by Uncharted: The Lost Legacy's Shaun Escayg and has been in development for more than three years. If true, the timeline aligns with Naughty Dog's previous approach — the studio announced Intergalactic after four years of behind-the-scenes work. Fans are now speculating that the studio may be preparing a major reveal at an upcoming gaming event, potentially mirroring Intergalactic's unveiling at The Game Awards 2024. Druckmann's increasing openness about the mystery title has only added fuel to the fire. Adding to his packed schedule, Druckmann is also deeply involved in The Last of Us's live-action adaptation on HBO and has reportedly been mentoring the lead actress of Intergalactic on handling online criticism. While nothing is confirmed, the signs suggest Naughty Dog is gearing up for another high-profile announcement. Until then, fans can only wait — and speculate — about what's next for one of gaming's most acclaimed studios.

Intergalactic Star Tati Gabrielle has been ‘Coached' about Online Gamer Backlash
Tati Gabrielle may have played Nora in the latest episode of The Last of Us , but online gamer fans know that she's going to be starring in Neil Druckmann's next game, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet . With The Last of Us Part II getting so much backlash online and actresses like Laura Bailey (Abby) getting harassed on social media, Gabrielle confirms that she has been 'coached' by Druckmann about what to expect, starring as a POC lead in a AAA video game. She tells Entertainment Weekly: 'Neil's been bootcamp-ing me… I know Troy's experience, I know Ashley's experience…I know Laura Bailey's experience. 'I got a lot of love, but there was a lot of hate over me being a woman, me being a woman of color, me having my head shaved, all these things that I didn't even actually initially see — I'm out of the social media zeitgeist for that reason — but once I did, Neil was like, 'Ignore it. No matter what, me and you, we're going to make something beautiful. We're going to make something that we're proud of.'' We don't know exactly what Gabrielle's character Jordan is going to be like in Intergalactic yet, but we know that anyone who isn't a straight, white, male protagonist is sure to draw online grifters like a moth to a flame. You bet they're going to be sicking thousands of 'anti-woke' people at anyone who makes games that 'isn't for them.' If anything, it does look like Druckmann has learned from the experience of TLOU Part II and is ready to protect Gabrielle from any backlash she may receive. Let's just hope that Naughty Dog—heck the entire PlayStation and Sony team—have more systems in place to fight off any possible toxic backlash. No release date has been set for Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet , but fans are expecting it to come to PS5 in the next few years.

‘I put Lush's Bath Bot to the test and created a dreamy home spa experience'
Lush has launched the perfect addition to your relaxing bath time routine, with the calming Bath Bot helping create a spa-like experience at home If you've ever had any type of spa routine, you'll know that the second you step into the treatment room, you can feel tension leaving your body. From the dim relaxing lights to calming music and relaxing scents, the whole experience is enough to get rid of stress before your treatment has even begun. So imagine my joy when I found possibly the quickest, easiest way to replicate that at home, with minimal effort required. The Lush Bath Bot launched earlier this year, and two minutes into my first use I knew this was the answer to recreating my favourite dreamy spa experience at home. The Lush Bath Bot is simple – it's essentially an electronic device that floats in your bath, emitting calming, soothing music and relaxing colour changing lighting. It lights up your bath water to give an immersive feeling, and you can choose from Lush's pre-set sound and light combinations, or play your own music (or even a podcast or audiobook) through it. Priced at £150, it's definitely a little more pricey than Lush's usual bath offerings, but unlike the brand's single use bath bombs, this is something you can use time and time again. It is, however, just as simple to use. Simply pop it on the charging dock to fully charge, then pair the bluetooth with your device via the Lush app. Then pop it in your bath and you're good to go. I decided to pair mine with one of my favourite Lush bath bombs (the peppermint-scented Intergalactic one, in case you were wondering) and you can choose a pre-made setting on the Lush app that matches your bath bomb of choice. The Intergalactic one matches the colours found in the bath bomb, with a playlist of calming music that matches the vibes. There's a mode for every mood, too, so whether you want something super chilled and relaxing, or a more upbeat, happy vibe, you can pick whichever setting you want. Or you just need to press and hold the play button, and it'll automatically start a light show whilst you play your own music of choice through it. I was taken aback by how powerful both the speaker and the lights were, and both offer a really immersive feeling that helped me totally switch off when using it. Although the Lush Bath Bot is waterproof, you're not meant to submerge it completely, so I was a little nervous about it getting too wet on the top where the speaker sits. I also found it tended to move quite dramatically at the slightest movement in the water, so if you do lots of moving around you might find it gets in the way occasionally. However I was so pleasantly surprised with the quality – usually waterproof speakers aren't very loud or super clear, but the music was incredibly sharp and had a good volume range. I loved experimenting with the different presets on the app too, and they kept playing continuously so you don't have to keep drying off to select a new one on your phone. It's not suitable for things like hot tubs or jacuzzis, however, so if you're planning on taking it into one of those you might want to pick up the Floating Waterproof Wireless Bath Speaker for £18.54 instead. If you don't have a bath, the Bluetooth Shower Speakers, which is currently on sale down from £32.99 to £25.99, is a great alternative.
