Saudi Arabia to Showcase Military Industry's Advancements at IDEF 2025
Saudi Arabia will take part in the International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 2025), running from July 22-27, 2025, in Istanbul, Türkiye, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA). IDEF 2025
IDEF is one of the world's most prestigious events showcasing the latest technological advancements and products in the defense industry. It brings together prominent figures in the defense industry, serving as a platform for exploring future defense technologies and fostering strategic partnerships.
In the light of this, the Saudi General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI) is leading the Kingdom's participation in IDEF 2025, by organizing the Saudi pavilion which will feature several public and private entities. Showcasing Industrial Capabilities
Saudi Arabia's participation in this internationally recognized event aims to highlight the rapid advancements in the Kingdom's military industries sector, and showcase the top national products and manufacturing capabilities, as well as the cutting-edge technologies of Saudi military capabilities.
Furthermore, it aims to enable Saudi companies to explore avenues for cooperation and partnerships with global companies, in line with the objective of localizing military industry, one of the key goals of Saudi Vision 2030. Saudi Participants at IDEF 2025
In addition to GAMI, the Saudi pavilion at IDEF 2025 will see the participation of the General Authority for Defense Development (GADD), the Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), and the National Company for Mechanical Systems (NCMS).
Moreover, Al-Esnad Industrial Company, the Saudi Chemical Company Limited (SCCL), Ray Manufacturing Service Company (RMC), INTRA Defense Technologies, GDC Middle East, Qudra Industrial Company, Pioneers Systems, as well as the World Defense Show (WDS), will take part in the event. Through this participation, GAMI aims to display the progress achieved by Saudi Arabia in building a robust and sustainable defense industrial base. It also aims to highlight efforts made to foster national military industries' companies and enhance their global competitiveness.
Additionally, GAMI will demonstrate its national priorities, policies, incentives, and key capabilities in the military and security industries, in a bid to to attract investments in the sector.
