Intisaf Org condemns US massacre in Thaqban, Bani al-Harith
Sana'a - Saba: The Intisaf Organization for Women and Children's Rights condemned the crime committed by the American aggression when it targeted three homes in the Thaqban area of the Bani Al-Harith District in the capital, Sana'a. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the organization held America responsible for all the crimes it committed against civilians and civilian objects, in flagrant violation of international humanitarian law, which criminalizes the targeting of innocent civilians in any way. The statement indicated that these crimes amount to crimes against humanity, as they violate the principles and rules of international humanitarian law, including the principles of humanity, distinction, and proportionality. It also held the United Nations and the Security Council responsible for their shameful silence and shirking of their duties, which encouraged the United States to continue committing further war crimes against civilians. Sana'a - Saba: Intisaf Organization for Women and Children's Rights condemned the continued deliberate bombing by the US aggression against civilians and civilian objects, targeting a residential neighborhood west of Al-Rawdah in Bani Al-Harith District in Sana'a. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the organization explained that this bombing constitutes a grave violation of international humanitarian law, which criminalizes the targeting of civilians. It also confirms the US aggression's deliberate violation of the principles and rules of international humanitarian law, including the principles of humanity, distinction, and proportionality, which has made these crimes amount to crimes against humanity. The organization held the US responsible for all crimes committed against civilians and demanded an investigation and criminal accountability for all those proven to be involved in these crimes. The statement also held the United Nations and the Security Council responsible for their shameful silence and shirking of their duties, which encouraged America to continue committing more war crimes against civilians in Yemen. Intisaf Organization: Thousands of Palestinian children killed, orphaned in Gaza
Sana'a - Saba: On Palestinian Children's Day (April 5), Intisaf Organization for Women and Children's Rights has released a statement detailing the devastating impact of the ongoing aggression on children in the Gaza Strip. The organization reported that since October 7, 2023, approximately 19,000 children have been killed and around 39,000 have lost one or both parents. Intisaf condemned Israel's violations/aggression against Palestinian children, stating that they are being deprived of their basic rights and childhoods. The organization accused Israeli enemy of violating international conventions and norms. The statement cited staggering figures: over 50,669 deaths, including 19,000 children, 274 infants killed under bombardment, 876 children under one year old killed, 115,225 wounded (69% women and children), and over 11,200 missing (70% children and women). Intisaf alleged that since March 8, 2025, Israeli enemy has been killing and wounding 100 children daily, with surviving children living in fear, hunger, and displacement. The organization criticized the "shameful silence" of the international community, including the UN. The statement highlighted that children comprise 51% of Gaza's population and are disproportionately affected by the aggression.
